We bought four pairs of these water shoes for a canoeing, camping and hiking trip (sizes 4.5, 7.0, 7.5 and 10.5). I held off on the final review until after we had used and abused them.Packaging was minimalistic but adequate. Shipping was prompt.The sizes ran mostly true but we did have to send one pair back for a smaller child size. The return process and customer service were both smooth.The initial quality of the product was great. We did a several miles on asphalt to break in the shoes prior to going camping as we didn’t want blisters in the field.We did many miles in canoes, through portages with very rough terrain, around camp. These shoes stayed wet for about a week straight. We had no failures in the field aside from the little cloth liner on the removable sole came out of all the shoes. We expected this based on other reviews and owning other water shoes. It is just a cosmetic piece anyway so only half a star deducted for that.I included some pics so you could see how well the outer soles and the uppers held up. Again, we did hard miles and these shoes held up very well. I have no regrets about buying these shoes for our adventures. They survived and we will continue to use them in our day to day. 4.5 stars rounded up to 5.One caveat: There is not much in the way of ankle support. I bought these shoes and used them for hiking thru the water path. I was a little worry about it because I thought it can be used for the pool and in the water parks. But I was over worried about it. As a test, I brought the shoes to Bridge to nowhere last weekend. It felt really comfortable. The sole is strong enough to walk on the rocks in the river. Not slippery at all. There have no any issue for that hiking. I didn't even tough my backup shoes. Highly command to hiking lovers.

I'm writing this review based on me buying a pair of $23 shoes. I bought these to use while kayaking because flip flops don't stay on well and tennis shoes get soggy. These more than met my expectations. They fit good enough to slide on without loosening but stay on my feet even without tightening. They had good traction on the gravel boat ramp where I put my kayak in. The only negative I can say is that the sole is not padded much so sharp gravel can push into your foot. I'm 275 lbs, so that might not be a problem for the normal person who's not nearly as fat as me. For $23, I'm very happy with my purchase and I'll probably be buying more for my kids to wear.

For the price, great solution. Quality is decent enough, they were comfortable and did the job. That said, couple downsides.I was putting them on / off a couple times during the day. The inserts would fold over causing a minor annoyance to have to readjust.Also, on the inserts there is a thin layer of a cheese cloth like fabric. The adhesive to attach it to the insert is not applied well. After one day of use, the fabric on the insert is already separating. Nothing a can of adhesive spray can’t fix, but I shouldn’t have to already begin repairs after first use.Again, you get what you pay for. Not my favorite purchase but they fit the bill.

These are a perfect fit for an 11.5 with high arch. My husband has used them frequently now for paddle boarding and snorkeling and they are great as water shoes. They look great and have a comfortable snug fit. I definitely recommend them.Snug enough that sand doesn’t get stuck in the shoe and become abrasive.The tread is perfect for pebble trails and slick boards.The sole is comfortable and flexible but not so much supportive.These shoes dry quick! Probably within approximately 30min of being submerged.They are also comfortable enough for walking around beach towns and casual walks.Used them for a recent hike (paddle board, hike, and beginner rock climb) and they caused blisters at the tops of toes and back of heel and became uncomfortable. Probably won’t use them for moderate/hard hikes anymore.Great inexpensive water shoes and for easy walks/hikes.

Ordered 3 pair to try on a hard packed beach and these were clearly the worst. Walking along the tide, these shoes allowed sand to enter through the holes. The other pairs barely had any sand in them, but these had to be emptied often. Not sure if it was the sand or the shoe design, but these cause the tops of my toes to become blistered. I skateboard in these shoes for hours. They are showing no wear or tear after three days of skateboarding. The soles appear to be actual rubber and are substantial. You don't feel EVERY rock. Just the big ones. The insole shows no indication of coming loose or wearing out. I sweat them up pretty good but they dry quickly and, so far, do not smell at all, which amazes me. They do come ONE-HALF SIZE LARGE. A 9.5 is snug on me and a 10 a bit loose and this 9.5 fits like a 10.

I wear a US size 8, which was not an option; so I ordered a 7.5 because my husband's and son's experience with these shoes is that they run large. But the 7.5 was too small, so I had to return them and order a size 8.5; but the return and refund were easy and fast, and the size 8.5 fits fine. These really do dry quickly; I accidentally poured water on my foot while wearing them and they were dry within minutes. I have worn them for walks and light yard work, and they have held up very well and are comfortable. They are a very affordable minimal shoe that's suitable for hiking, which is exactly what I have been looking for. I have yet to hike in them and get them wet in creeks and streams; I can update this review if need be after hiking in them.
