It works pretty good!
For the most part this works great! I will say that trying to grind the smaller holes was not successful. But the bigger grind worked and ended up being fine for my sausages. It seems durable and easy to clean. I did get have some issues with a vapor lock when grinding and I feel like the pusher stick should have a bit of a flared handle at the end to aid in removing. It’s plastic and when it gets greasy it is really difficult to pull out.

Works only with a KitchenAid mixer. Amazing power.
We purchased a KitchenAid mixer and have been expanding our use of the mixer. The power this thing has is amazing. I bought 27 pounds of chuck roast and London Broil meat on a deal and gleaned the best meat cuts for the roasts by selective cutting. Then I cut up the rest into chunks to feed to the meat grinder attachment. Wow! I expected to hear the unit drop in speed significantly and struggle to grind the meat into ultra lean hamburger. I was shocked. It slowed down a tiny bit and ground meat just kept coming out as fast as we could feed it. I cut the bulk meat up and my wife fed the grinder. She has to eat very lean meat due to previous surgeries. The grinder worked flawlessly. There are several different sizes of grinder plates and next time we will use a smaller size. The meat was a little coarser than what we are used to buying from the butcher shop. We shopped a lot of these kits before buying this one. Would buy again in a heartbeat! Hope it works as good for you as it did for us.

Excellent choice
KitchenAid Meat Grinder Accessory ReviewThis KitchenAid meat grinder accessory is a game-changer! The durability is outstanding—it feels solid and well-constructed, handling tough tasks with ease. Cleaning is surprisingly easy, with all parts disassembling smoothly for a quick wash. Efficiency is where it truly shines; grinding meat is fast and effortless. It handled venison like a pro, processing it smoothly without any clogs or hiccups. If you’re looking for a reliable and efficient grinder for your KitchenAid mixer, this is absolutely worth it!

High-quality build, but serious usability issues with vegetable attachment
I really wanted to love this set — the build quality is excellent, materials feel solid, and overall it looks like a premium product. But after using it a few times (especially the vegetable slicer/shredder attachment), I ran into some serious design flaws.First, the feed tube for the vegetable slicer is extremely narrow — barely wide enough for a cucumber. If you’re slicing potatoes, cheese, or anything wider, you’ll have to pre-cut everything into small strips, which defeats the purpose of a slicer. Wide slices just aren’t an option.Second, and more frustrating, the shredder attachment gets clogged very quickly — especially when shredding cabbage. After just 2–3 feedings, shredded cabbage builds up and gets stuck inside the attachment housing. Nothing pushes it out, so I had to stop the mixer, dig it out manually with a fork or small knife, and then restart. This process repeated every couple of minutes. The blades themselves cut beautifully, no complaints there. But the engineering behind how the shredded material exits (or doesn’t) really needs rethinking. This could’ve easily been a 5-star product — great concept, excellent craftsmanship — but usability is seriously compromised. A good product needs more than solid materials; it needs to work smoothly in practice.
