Design changed on the vacuum pattern side of the roll bags, has made these bags less useful.
Design changes on the vacuum pattern side has made these bags less useful. They still work great if you use them in the same direction as the original bag design but, if you are making custom size bags, (think small), you can run into issues with vacuuming. The new vac pattern is linear, in a straight line, just like the Foodsaver brand bags and can only be vacuumed in the direction of the that line. If you cut it down and try to seal in with the vacuum pattern going across the bag, it won't seal.All of the FoodVacBags, both bags and roll matterial that I have purchased before this have had a diamond pattern in the vac side of the bag which allowed vacuuming in any direction. sideways, longways even diagonal, foolproof. Not so with the new roll bags. After several correspondences with FoodVacBags, was told that on future orders i can request and they will ship the roll bags with the diamond pattern but, I'm S.O.L. on this order.Other than this,(which I think is important) the bags work as advertised and are a good product. Just be aware, you may not get the same product material each time you order and that may affect your overall opinion of this products usability and product consistency is one of the reasons the you buy a product over and over. I knocked off 2 stars because of the product inconsistency and 1 star for the customer support. I could still recommend the product but with a disclaimer.

Great value and quality
I am very impressed with the quality and the price of the FoodVacBag products! I use them with my 4400 series Food Saver brand sealing system and they work wonderfully. I have tried the name brand bags and rolls and actually found the FoodVacBags brand more to my liking. They fit perfectly, they make a perfect seal every time and they are slightly thicker than the Food Saver brand rolls. Not to mention they are much, much more affordable! I LOVE this 4 pack packaging with the 8" AND the 11" rolls in one! Its a real bargain and I use both sizes every week! I seal a LOT of food, by the way! I have a chest freezer and I always buy in bulk. I also feed my dogs a raw meat diet so add about 14 lbs of meals for dogs every week that I weigh out and seal up in serving sizes for them. These bags save me so much money, and I cannot say enough good things about their quality. Don't be afraid to try them with your sealers, they will work just as well for you!

Nice bags
Have bought these several times. They work just as good as name brand and are much cheaper. We like that we can cut our own size but we also like the pre-made ones for smaller items.

Have used these in the past and they work well. Have had no problems with them. I do have to re-roll them to fit in my food vac but it's not a problem and a lot cheaper to use these.
