Dalla Piazza Foil Cutter

This thing is built like a tank and polished to a sparkle. I have no doubt it will last years, given it's weight and heft and sturdy parts. Certainly it can stand up to a bit of abuse if you drop it multiple times, though that may take away some of the shine. I also like the sleek, contemporary design that also fits well in your hands as you place it in position over the wine bottle. If you're someone who appreciates nice kitchen and/or wine tools that are both durable and pleasing to the eye, you will probably be very glad to have this foil cutter. Strong, beautiful and inexpensive @ $9.99, you just can't go wrong. Best value foil cutter I've ever seen.

Update: STILL have this marvel of craftsmanship! I use it A LOT. I wont say every day, but A LOT. It's been almost 9 YEARS and it still cuts like butter. It's foil cutting abilities are amazing! No effort needed..just a few twists and wa la! Probably the most used gadget in my kitchen and STILL GOING STRONG! 😃🍷🍷🍷🍷So easy to use, cuts foil with little effort and very little twisting required. Sturdy made. Cant rate longevity yet, but definitely will once I've had it a while.

I've looked at the other reviews and they're pretty much positive. My experience was different.Pros:*good price point makes this affordable.Cons:*I didn't find the cutting quality better than even cheaper alternatives.*Product quality was poor. Cutter blade broke after a month.Can't recommend this.

This foil cutter is very handsome and weighty, no doubt. But when I tried cutting with it, it just tore the foil. Upon further inspection, I noticed the two rotating cutters were not rotating like they should have. The machine work on the inside was not finished smooth. I had to take it apart and manually sand those areas until they rotated like they should. I don't know if mine missed inspection but it works great now that the rotating cutters are free.

So far this foil cutter is working fine, but I've only used it for a month or so. Hopefully it won't dull or fall apart as the other types have. Time will tell.

After all of our cheap, plastic cutters broke we bought this cutter and the highly rated Arch cutter at Christmas last year. Although the Arch cut fine, we both much prefer the ergonomics and feel of this cutter. I hardly ever write reviews but thought this product deserved one for being clearly a cut above.

This not only far exceeds the performance of all the plastic cutters I've broken in the past, but it also looks cool! Sure it's pricey, but it's worth it.

It's hard to find a good cutter that's also stylish..,this one is both and I wold recommend it to anyone
