SAMSUNG 2020 65" & 75" The Terrace Wall Mount

I was very excited to get this mount as it was small and easy to put up. Only problem is that we have a new Q80 series TV and the bolts that attach the back of it were too short. I had to separately order longer volts that were 50 mm. Thr ones this mount provided were 45 mm, which were too short. If you have a smaller TV, it should be fine though. Thought they'd think ahead and put two different sets of bolts so we didn't have to go through the trouble of finding longer ones. It was a tough task as we had gone to 3 different hardware stores with no luck to look for one. We eventually had to order it on line via Amazon where the seller explained that the Samsung mounts do not privede longer bolts for their mounts. It was an additonal $8.00 which was nothing but the principle was the issue.

Mount is made to support the Samsung Terrace 55” model which weighs 65 pounds. It has a heavy duty feel and will hold up to the outdoor elements. This mount however is very limited. The arm extends just a short amount enough to access the electrical outlet and tv inputs. The mount is difficult to maneuver. The mounting hardware m that comes in the box is inadequate. You can not mount a soundbar mount to this which many other tv mounts are capable of. Also you must mount perfectly center since there is no way to slide it left or right once it’s against the wall. The mount tilts forward due to the weight of the tv. This mount is expensive and has limited functionality.

It did not move easily, pointed TV up towards the ceiling, bolts to short to go in the back of the TV, very expensive for such a bad item.

This would have received five stars had samsung provided screws that actually threaded into the tv. This mount is too expensive to not have the correct parts. Ended up finding a much sturdier mount for 75% less the cost of this one
