It's a shame really. I've used this type product for over 30 years. If its not broken, it doesn't need to be fixed. What I always enjoyed about this soap was its no thrills. Here it is, use it. Why they changed it is beyond me. I've also read other reviews that Panoxyl's customer service has really gone down hill. Shame really.

This used to be good product, but the new formula is a giant step backward. Whereas it was formerly like a paste, it is now a liquid with about the same viscosity as dish soap. This is problematic for several reasons. Firstly, although the product has drastically changed, it still comes in the same packaging -a tube designed to dispense a paste. Now a liquid, it just pours out and goes all over the place (I suspect finding a way to make you use more was a significant factor in the reformulation). It now also has an odor that is somewhat off-putting... Unfortunately, it gets worse; the new consistency has also impacted product efficacy. Instead of foaming up as before, it is now so thin that water simply dilutes it and washes it away, leaving you feeling as though you never washed your face in the first place. If you have been using this product for some time, be advised that it is no longer anything like what you remember. I will be looking elsewhere for a replacement.

I think the "new formula" is terrible. They must have found a cheaper way to make this product so that they get a bigger profit. The old formula was just fine and they didn't need to change it. It stinks (literally), it's watery, and it doesn't foam anymore! Terrible!

I got this cause I saw it was perfect for back acne on tik tok. And it really is!! My back looks so much better and I got less breakouts! I really like it! It does make my face dry, but my back it’s fine. I’m just very happy I finally found something that works for my back
