FIIHO Coffee Gooseneck Kettle with Thermometer - Stainless Steel(1.2 Liter, 40 oz)

Have you ever bought something that makes you so happy for the silliest of reasons? This little kettle was it for me. 1st off, It is gorgeous. It gives off serious steampunk vibes, and that’s not even my thing, but looks oh soooooo cool on the stove. It looks futuristic yet 100 years old somehow. People will comment on how awesome it looks just sitting there on the stove. It’s a piece of functional art. I love it every single morning. It makes me smile. It heats up very quick and perfectly, and it will hold and retains heat extremely well too. I’m impressed. It will remain really quite hot for a good while. Having the thermometer is a game changer for serious coffee drinkers and to not over heat your grinds, or tea drinker a like too. It is so precise, in temp and in pouring. The gooseneck gives you unbelievable pinpoint control. My coffee has never been better. My girlfriend uses it now to water her indoor herb garden because you can literally water one little kernel or seed, it’s unbelievably accurate and precise. No more boiling hot water on the hand from pot overspill! I did have a small manufacturing defect on my thermometer (which happens with any product, just how it is) and had to use the lifetime warranty. I reached out to the seller who was immediately responsive, very kind, and overly accommodating, and as you can see from the pic the new replacement thermometer looks fantastic!! It is so nice to rest assured and to have the extra lifetime warranty! Overall, I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, it brings me extreme joy, and has become the best part of waking up. A seriously great gift for a coffee or tea fanatic! It’ll decorate your kitchen and get lots of compliments if you leave it out. If you looking for a seriously great kettle, you just found it.

For me this is perfect. Up out of bed before the rest of the family and I get to make MY cup, or 2, of coffee. Kettle is light, but not flimsy. Didn't think that I'd need the thermometer - have come to rely on it. Comes to temperature pretty quickly. I have a small diameter gas burner heating this and the handle stays room temperature. Our water's filtered and I haven't had the need to clean this, except for when I received it. It was easy enough to clean with one of those foam brushes. I do let the kettle air dry when I use it. Water collects in some areas and I sop it up with a towel. Interior and exterior are pristine, no signs of rust. Holds about 4 cups of water which is two cups of pour over coffee for me. Tried to do without this by using a regular kettle - water all over. I THINK THAT THIS KETTLE IS PERFECT!

The media could not be loaded.  This thing is awesome! Precision pouring for pour over coffees! The built-in thermometer in the lid is perfect to let you know which temperature range you need for whatever you are making. This kettle is built well and the heat stays warm for a while. I used mine on an electric glass top stove but will be looking for countertop induction plate as it is compatible. This thing is a great gift for coffee heads!

I like using this teapot, it has a handle that stays pretty cool. I find myself not turning the burner on high and not overheating the pot, like I've done in the past. I like not having a whistle, because I've always opened the spout to avoid the sound. This teapot has a thermometer that lets you know the proper temperatures needed for hot beverages. I like it so far, it demands care that's not overbearing.

This is a great kettle for pour overs or any thing where the water needs to be at a set temperature. The long spout allows for a controlled pour. A rubber spout cover is included in the box. Using the spout cover while heating the water, stops the water from shooting out of the spout while heating. Make sure that the lid is fully seated when boiling water. This prevents hot water from steaming out of the top and allows the kettle to reach your desired temperature more quickly. This kettle is not made to whistle. You must pay attention to the temperature. I highly recommend.

I am very pleased with this kettle. It definitely met my expectations. The kettle is easy to clean and I've had it for some months now and have not experienced any rust (i have the gray version). it makes pouring hot water very easy and with the long goose neck design I have full control of the water flow. it only takes a few minutes to get water hot, and the handle stays cool so you can immediately pick it up when ready. It would be great if it came with a whistle function (I haven't come across any goose neck kettle as yet that does), like traditional tea kettles, but other than that, I highly recommend.

I purchased this kettle to replace my broken perculator that i used to heat up water for my french press. Its been a couple of months now and it works great. I have a gas stovetop and it heats up the water in about 3 min. It has an indicator on the lid which helps in determining when the water is about to boil. Easy cleanup since i just heat water for french press or tea. It is easy to hold and pour out of.

Me encanto mi cafetera. Es genial poder tener el termómetro para las diferentes cafeteras manuales que tengo y los distintos tipos de café. Incluso para llegar al punto de tener el agua adecuada para unos buenos mates. Lo que necesitaba para preparar mis bebidas favoritas.

Muy buen producto, ya llevo un par de semanas y funciona muy bien, vale mucho la pena

Llegó muy rapido, antes de tiempo estimado, tiene algunas imperfecciones como el color mal aplicado en algunas partes y algunos pequeños tallones que no afectan su funcionamiento, pero tiene un defecto de fabrica en el tubo para verter el agua, le falta una parte pequeña en donde se une con el hervidor, espero que no presente fugas más adelante. Se ve en la foto.En cuanto a la limpieza si fue necesaria, para limpiar una especie de grasa negra en el interior del tubo asi como en el hervidor, fue necesario limpiar varias veces, use gasas mojadas con alcohol y hervi agua con vinagre varias veces.En cuanto a su funcionamiento, excelente, calíenta rapido, mantiene la temperatura perfecta, el termómetro es muy útil, me indica con la marca en rojo cuando está lista para preparar el cafe y el sabor de mi cafe es mejor ahora que cuando hervida el agua en un sarten y no sabía a que temperatura lo estaba preparando.Por el momento no se ve óxido ni tiene fugas, espero que dure mucho tiempo asi.El termometro no lo lavó, lo limpio con alcohol para evitar que le entre agua y después se condence en el interior de la carátula, se puede desenrroscar de la tapa muy fácil para limpiarlo por separado.

Cumple con las expectativas, muy buena calidad.
