This item is not correctly designed to fit the Fire HD8. As a result the case presses on the volume buttons, causing the device to mute the volume and display the volume on the screen. Also the magentic device sleep does not work when the screen cover is over the device, causing the device to be constantly on instead.

I bought this for my new Amazon Fire 8 tablet. I had never owned a case that "stood up" by using a backing triangular shape (rather than tucking into a lip or standing in a groove). This case uses its magnet to form the shape, so works efficiently, quickly and effectively. Also, the wake-up and sleep function is absolutely consistent rather than working most of the time.It's a delight to use, so reasonably priced and very sturdy... I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Good to start with but within a month the magnets kept falling out and the plastic holding the magnets started to crack, managed to glue and all OK now not sure if I would buy again

Had a few of these cases and I like them. Decent price that lasts as long as you would expect with the use they go through. Just changed mine after two years.

Great case, abit surprised it opens from right to left, but after using it for a few day's, makes perfect sense. Able to rotate tablet and case folds, making better to watch films.

Good price actually fits nice products does what it’s supposed to do. Very pleased

The media could not be loaded.  Exactly what I needed, its sturdy and classic looking. Also added safety in case of dropping.

Good value. Purchased for my husbands new kindle. Fits great looks good.
