BlundstoneMen's Original 500 Series Chelsea Boot

I got a puppy, new boots needed....
Needed a pair of boots to walk the dog and a spot of fishing, but a bit more comfort than wellies or walking boots. Had a pair of Bluds’ at Uni wore them until holes appeared in the heals - then they got nicked! So, a quick look on-line and the average price is around £120. I think I paid half that at Shu in Liverpool a couple of decades ago, inflation for you!Amazon had the same boots (519) for £79 a saving of 40 quid - buzzing and they’re as comfy as I remember. A pro tip if you find you need to break them in, a wet cloth rubbed into the tight areas helps stretch the leather to your feet, keep reapplying as needed. For waterproofing either Punch Dubbin or Clarke’s premium leather conditioner, they’re both the same. Aussie version of Dr Martins, so I was informed by a gap year student, I asked him if he’d travelled back to tell me that amazing fact🤣 good boots, recommended particularly over R M Williams, they look like winkle pickers and aren’t made for broad feet, these are🤙

Need breaking in
Great boots my second pair but you do have to go through a week or so to break them in

So comfortable
I love these boots. They are really comfortable and so easy to slip on for a wet, muddy dog walk.

Always brilliant quality
These are so worth the money. I wouldn't buy any other boots. And so comfortable.

excellent all rounder (but not as long lasting as claimed)
Blunnie 500: Great boots, good for everything (except lasting a long time). Shearing sheep, hiking hills, city streets, warm or cold weather. If I could only have a single choice of footwear for the whole year, this would be it (Wessex).BUT the soles wear out much more quickly than the lovely leather uppers, which is such a shame. Numerous times I've had to buy new pairs because the soles failed, while the (presumably much more costly) uppers were still in great condition and at their peak comfort.I believe there is a documented technical problem with their sole compound, search "Blundstone hydrolysis"...Bottom line: good but sadly still a 'throwaway society' product

Since I bought these I haven’t worn anything else and I have about 100 alternatives
Well made, light, comfortable and sturdy

Excellent fit and comfortable
Better fit than expected; I have wide feet so ordered the 9.5 which gives a wider not longer fit. All in all very pleased so far, haven’t needed to break them in as they are very comfortable.

Look as good in reality as they look on line.

This Boots are made for walking

Ottime in ogni situazione
Bellissime e comodissime. Consigliatissime, avrei voluto scoprirle prima!
