Wore it this weekend walking, hottest weekend so far this year and I managed to not get a burnt ears or head. Did the job. I should have kept it on for the drive home too.

The brim of the hat is fine but the top part is just made of a very thin material so it has no shape to it. The product pictures are very misleading as they give the impression it will hold it's shape but instead it's just a creased floppy bit of fabric. What makes it worse is the elastic to adjust the size ends up making the top of the hat even more messy. The description also says that the neck flap is detachable which it is not. The sides detach and the flap tucks away in the underside of the brim but it cannot be fully removed. As I am only using it in my back garden for when I am gardening to keep the sun off me (when we get some) I am not too bothered about how the hat looks as no one will see me wearing it, but it's not something I would wear in public. For the price I was actually quite disappointed with the quality of the hat, as in reality it looks nothing like the pictures being used on Amazon.

Fantastic and fast delivery

Looking at the pictures I thought the hat was going to be a hard hat not soft flimsy fabric like it has been made out of. And being made in Italy very disappointing I must say. If you're looking for a sun hat for fishing or shooting in summer mabe ok but for an English winter as a rain hat useless. Not waterproof at all. Used it once on a shooting day and got soaked through save some money and buy a cheaper hat and wax it yourself. Cheaper better waterproofing and also may last longer.

Much better quality than the last hat I ordered from a different company. This has same material on top as the mission brand hats light weight. The brim is heavier but durable I like the look and feel of it definitely going to use hiking and fishing

This hat turned out to be one of the best buys. We use it at the beach. We use it at CrossFit competitions that are outdoors and where we are exposed to the sun it protects from bad burns especially if you are bald. It also protects your neck in the back as it has a piece of material that falls over it, it also looks very very nice. There are a variety of colours and they all look really nice. I personally got the olive green and the dark gray and they both look amazing. One of them was a gift and the person I gave it to loved it as well.

Wore this in Mexico for a week and NO SUNBURN. Hat saved me a ton of discomfort for sure! Worth twice what I paid for it!
