I bought this instrument just for fun with a gift card I got for Christmas. I had never played one before, but this is a quality ukulele and is very easy to learn to play. I love that it is made from mahogany wood which makes for a very mellow sounds. The strings were top quality. I had to do very little tuning. It’s a lot of fun! I would absolutely recommend it for beginners to accomplished ukulele players.

I have over 20 soprano ukuleles and this little JDR is one of my favorites. Finish is good armrest makes it unique and the clear flourocarbon strings are great. Gigbag is also pretty decent. Great package for the money.

The quality was impressive for the price. It came with a nice case, tuner and pics too.

The media could not be loaded.  This JDR Soprano Ukulele for Beginners is absolutely a great gift for little kids. My daughter always wants to play her dad’s guitar but it’s really big for her. So I got this 21 Inch Ukulele to give it a try. She’s so excited to have it. I don’t know much about this instrument but my husband is good at playing guitar and he said this Ukulele is worth to buy. The sound is very nice! It came with a protective Bag, a beginner’s manual and extra strings. It’s easy to store and can be carried on easily. I would recommend it to people who can teach their kids how to play this.

I actually was interested in this particular ukulele a while back, but I decided to get a sopranissimo instead to take to work.By chance, I noticed that it was on sale, which is rare. 😉 The price was right. It’s an excellent ukulele. My only complaint is that turner are on the cheap side. I know for this price you can’t ask for more. Also, they should add strap buttons, which is becoming the norm. Personally, I prefer playing with a strap. (At the end, I installed strap buttons myself. 🙂)Definitely buy it if you are interested in good ukulele at this price range.

I purchased this for my daughter's Ukulele club for school and I so enjoyed playing it that I think I want to get myself one. It sounds great and I like the fact that you have individual pins to for each string on the bridge vs. the classical style. This makes it much easier to swap strings for a beginner. The cut outs also make a nice edition too! You can't beat this beauty at this price range! I also liked the carbon strings that came with it as they are pretty easy on my kids fingers.

The media could not be loaded.  This set is great for beginners. Don’t know if this is good to use with a regular guitar pick, but seems the uke is very sturdy and well made. My husband plays guitar for several years and I want to something similar but simple. This uke has very clear and nice resonance from the wood material. It’s easy to manipulate and carryover. A bit alternate, it’s a good musical toy for my daughter as well. It is SUPERB for this price!

Nice uke for the price. Pros: carbon strings, extra fret markers (compared to others in this price range), nice sound, nice case included, and quality tuning pegs.Cons: no pegs for strap but has support block so you can add pegs, fret bars are rough...will need to file down.Overall, I would recommend this Soprano for any beginner. It's a nice looking uke with great sound and strings stabilized after two days of playing. I would have liked a tuner included.
