This towel is great and I can wait to use it at the beach and pool this summer. I used it as a bath towel just to try it out and was surprised at how absorbent it is. It is NOT meant to be a fluffy beach towel, so if that's what you need this is not the product for you, but it is certainly functional in many different ways. The material is soft. The color I received was more aqua and purple than blue but still very pretty.I have included pictures of this towel compared to a standard beach towel and an oversized fluffy beach towel. As you can see it takes up significantly less space than either one. Also used as a cover up. I am 5'6" and 145 and I'm not sure it would fit anyone much larger as a cover up in this configuration as it was a bit tight to tie around my neck.Overall I definitely recommend this product and will be buying it for my beach loving family as gifts!

We love these....to an extent. We just bought 7 more based off our original purchase of one. The issue I have is that they do not list anywhere the shrinkage that will occur when you wash as directed! You will lose 4” of length and 3” of width! This item at the size stated is a good “towel” size, when you factor in the shrinking you “SMALL towel” size. We will wash this new batch with Woolite, on cold, and hang dry (we didn’t use Woolite last time and dried on cool) to see if it makes a difference...I hope so. Otherwise we’re stuck with 36.5”x66” towels instead of 39”x71”....UPDATE: We have found that if you wash these on cool and then air dry, you won’t get any shrinking. I realize this is a bit of a “no brainer” but who thinks of air drying TOWELS! In actuality, they do dry rather quickly and therefore have become our go to pool towels....oh, and I do wear the lt grey one as a scarf too!

It took a while to get used to but I absolutely love my Turkish towel. It is very light weight and a welcome change from heavy bath towels. I suffer with fibromyalgia and severe arthritis in my shoulders and this towel has been a real blessing. If you're anything like me with physical restraints, give this towel a chance. You'll love it.

These are magic. I didn't know towels like these existed. I've bought many different types of towels over the years, and these are leaps and bounds ahead of anything. They are beautiful (bought the linen), Pack so small (perfect for travel), and they wick water away like a miracle. At the beach- bam, I'm dry, and the towel is barely even damp. I get out of the shower- bam, I'm dry, and the towel dried my hair, and it's still barely wet. Where does the water go?? The best part- my husband has ruined every towel he's ever encountered (He has his own designated towels, because they always get so stinky after one use!), but this one is impervious to his pheromones or whatever. I just bought as many as I could afford. I'm a convert. Extra bonus: I feel boujee whenever I wrap myself in this. Like an actual goddess.

Great beach gear. Shipping was very quick - just two days and they arrived with enough time to wash and pack for Hawaii. I bought two - gray and turquoise. The colors are soft pastels, not super bright, which I prefer.They can fold up super small or flat so they didn’t take up much room in our carry ons. It’s woven tight, unlike towels that will keep sand in the fibers. Sand flicks right off with ease and it was also a nice barrier between me and the sand while laying on the beach. They dry you off well and also line dry/hang very quickly. Very versatile - though bulkier than a sarong, it can be used as a coverup, shawl or light weight blanket in a pinch.I tried using one as a bath towel when I got home. It was awkward because I’m accustomed to the bulk and softness of terry towels, so drying off after a shower was weird. They are still a little stiff but it’s nothing a few more washes will not remedy. All in all, it’s a good investment. Much better than thick beach towels if you are beach bound.

I purchased two of these last minute before our trip to the Caribbean. I was wavering back and forth between these and a more expensive brand. These ended up being my choice, but a very good choice. The sand does just roll off the blankets. I’ve washed them multiple times and they just get softer each time. I’ve also used them as blankets to keep me warm inside. An excellent beach/Caribbean accessory. Fantastic purchase!

I got the idea for these towels on a travel blog, and bought 2 for my boyfriend and I for our trip to Greece. We are obsessed with them! They're awesome for the plane, to roll up as a neck pillow, wrap over your legs if you're cold, or carry around your shoulders. We used them throughout our trip for the beach, pool, and swimsuit cover up. They soak up water so well, but dry so quickly!! They do get softer as you wash it, which I did twice before we left and they were really comfortable. To top it off, the roll up so small to carry in our pack throughout our week and a half of traveling. Highly recommend!

We made the switch to Turkish towels and love how quickly they dry, how we never have mildew smells, and how long and wide they are so you can be completely covered when you want to wrap up after a shower. We use them regularly in the bathroom, but also have started taking these when travelling. They make a nice beach spread, dry quickly in the hotel, and are compact.
