My daughter has been bugging me for hair chalks for ages, so I caved and got these.She’s got blonde hair so the colours show up fantastically. They’re really easy to apply with the twist up pen design and they wash out easily too! (Phew!)The only downside is that they make the hair quite knotty/tangly at first, but I ran a bit of spray in argan oil through my daughters hair, gave it a good brush through and this sorted it! :)

My 8 year old granddaughter loved it, not sure how easy it was as I didn't use it but mummy was quite happy with it

Really easy to use, my 5yo can use them herself. The colour is very vibrant even on medium brown hair and it washes of skin, hair and clothing easily. Thrilled with this product!

My daughter had great fun using these and styling her hair with these chalk pens, putting all different colours in her hair.They are pretty easy and straight forward to use and to then wash out afterwards. She was also able to use them to apply in other people’s hair and took great joy in doing so.Depending on your hair colour, there was a little difficultly when it came getting the colours to show in the hair, having the apply it several times, going back over it again and again until the colour showed clearly, luckily her hair is light, having light ginger hair.It was fun and definitely something easy for my kids to do, that was fun, easy and quick to wash out afterwards.

We used itIt was easy to apply and lovily colours but omg it's not chalk and my god don't brush Ur child's hair with it in!!!It's incredibly difficult and hurts the kids even after u have brushed it- it still ... Has the tangling effectGo somewhere else people

I’m a little old to be having rainbow hair so I sent this pack to my goddaughter for her to test it. She’s eleven and definitely into enhancing her appearance. She had a go over the weekend and sent me her feedback today. She loved them! She said she did it all herself as they are like chunky pens that are easy to use. So apparently you wet your hair first. She used a water spray so it wasn’t dripping wet. Then you draw on the colour going over it a few times to increase the colour. Then you dry your hair with a hairdryer to seal the colour. She said you have to be careful while your hair is still damp as the colour rubs off. Maybe with younger kids parental supervision is a good idea. She loved her new look . She didn’t wash it out at bedtime and said there was a small amount of colour on her pillow case next morning but this washed out easily ( much to my relief). When she had a shower the colour all washed out easily and she had no irritation or problems of any kInd. Apparently she’s going to colour it again for Halloween and Christmas so I’m hoping she sends me photos of her new look. She said she gives them four stars as she was a bit worried about the little bit of colour on the pillow case next morning. So based on her feedback I’d recommend this product.

Having tried several other brands of hair chalks, I can say these are a big improvement primarily because the chalks are held inside the pen casing, making it easier to apply and a lot less colour going on your hands or clothes. The colour appeared brighter than normal chalks.My grand daughter has just started High School and has long been a user of hair chalks, she has a medium blonde coloured hair and her friend has a mousey blonde. The colour definitely took better on the lighter hair colour and stayed on over the full weekend, although they tried not to brush their hair a lot so that they held the colour longer. That was difficult for a teenager who is always preening. Her mother and I loved the look and she said it was easier to apply than regular chalks , so long as your hair was little damp first. The colour did not transfer to her pillow overnight but there was evidence of it in the bathroom when she eventually gave her hair a good brushing out, before showering. I know once we get back to normal with no COVID restrictions these pens will be used at Halloween by some of the Adults in our family.
