Solar Adapter Cable Solar Power Adapter Connector Male and Female Solar Panel Cable Kits -10AWG 35cm/1.1ft

I used this to connect a Goal Zero Yeti 1000x generator to a Bluetti PV200 panel.I'm new to this whole solar + battery generator world, so I was concerned when I saw the orientation of the Anderson connector(s) on the cable (horizontal) didn't match that on the Yeti (vertical). Additionally, I initially thought I needed different "gender" Anderson connector ends than the ones on this cable.Luckily,1. the orientation of how this cable's positive (red) & negative (black) Anderson connector are joined can be re-configured, through a clever "slot and groove" system; and2. as it turns out, Anderson connectors don't have a gender - any single Anderson connector (for a single wire) can connect to another one, by flipping one upside down.So, to hook up this cable to a Yeti X, all you have to do is (all steps on this cable):1. slide back the protective plastic hood from the Anderson connectors;2. slide the two Anderson connectors (one black, one red) apart;3. make sure each _individual_ Anderson connector is turned the right way to plug into the corresponding Anderson connector on the Yeti;4. Once you see the orientation needed, slide the two Anderson connectors back together;5. Slide the protective plastic hood back into place.

the red and black were reversed on delivery. Quick fix if you know how Anderson connectors work, but should have been caught by QC. Once put in proper place it allows direct connection of my Jackery 1000 to just about all solar panels with MC4 connectors.

Nice little adapter cable with great connectors at both ends and it's nice that the Anderson pp can be switched easily from horizontal to vertical as needed...

I like it when things work and they are made well enough to last. I bought a portable power bank and needed this cable to charge with a wider variety of solar panels. This did the trick. And for good measure, it came with a gender change adapter just in case.

Overall a well built cable. Thick wiring and good quality connectors attach nice and snug without that 'cheap wobble' that lots of cables have. I did have one issue, though.While this doesn't affect how well this cable operates, it does have the connectors placed on the wrong wires. I connected my solar panels to my 'solar generator' and found that it was not charging. Following the cabling and busting out my voltmeter to chase the problem led me to checking under the boot of the Anderson poles (as see in photo) to see that the positive and negative were in reverse. I just rearranged the them since Anderson connectors can be swapped. Good thing my device has polarity protection or I would have fried it without warning.
