This product is wonderful! I have 4 c hair (so this comment is for the black folks with the extra tight curls) and this product really smoothed it out. I went to a party, dance AND it rained earlier and I got no frizz! I think the key is to use it twice within a month. The first use it was straight but still swelled up a little with humidity, so I used it again with my next wash and it's extra smooth and super soft! Each wash I paired it with a dab of Aveda's anti-humectant pomade that I applied when I was blow drying my hair which helped it dry faster with the product in. The product tingles a little but it's fine. I got it as straight as I could with the blow dryer on hot and then I flat ironed my hair. I've never gotten my hair this straight at home. I hate writing reviews and I know these are run on sentences, but I had to let y'all know that this works well you just gotta know how to use it. I'll probably not use the product again for a bit so I don't over protein my hair, but it's so soft right now it's amazing.

El pelo queda como tieso y encartonado pero después de 3 horas cuando lo lavas queda muy suavecito y casi alaciado completamente. Me gusto el resultado y mi cabello se siente saludable.

First note, I followed the instructions for using the keratin and didn't wash my hair for 3 days after application. Unfortunately, the product made my scalp burn like a relaxer (which I haven't used in years and that's why I wanted to use keratin). As a black person with thick hair, saturating hair per instructions after using the shampoo made my hair sticky and stinky. By the time, I was straightening it the aroma stunk like fish. My hair felt heavy, annoying and fell out. After I straightened every day and washed my hair 3 days later with the same Naturous shampoo, only a few strands were straight which is why I said this keratin treatment doesn't work on black people per my experience. Also although I have short hair neckline length and the instructions states that it can used for 4 applications, I had to use 3/4 of the bottle. Maybe one day, there can be an effective keratin treatment formaldehyde free formula without all these issues for all hair race types.

I absolutely love this product! Leaves the hair feeling healthy and shiny! I don't like that the actual protein treatment makes your hair feel grainy when you first put it on. The grainy feeling goes away after blowdry and flat iron. I would buy it again.EDIT:The product is absolutely amazing, after waiting box braids since 2015 i decided to finally let my hair out which is completely curly tight coils for those who braid know that sometimes after uninstalling box braids your hair becomes very very dry. This product has added sheen and moisturize back to my hair and looks healthy and soft to touch.I also used this on my 10yo hair which she has the same hair texture as mine and the results were amazing. I usually blow dry and flat iron her hair for the holidays and would last a week maybe two if I wrap her hair up, with this product After a week her hair is still silky smooth with just blowdry flat iron and not needing to wrap it up before bed.

My hair is curly, frizzy and dry between 3b-3c curls... I normally flat iron my hair every week. It was easy to do at home with help applying the treatment. My hair in the picture is 2 days after treatment, I'm waiting the 72hrs before I wash it .. this only lasted 4 washes.. my hair is back to being frizzy. Didn't last long and I was only washing my hair once a week. It does smell really bad after leaving it in for the 3 days.

I have extremely curly hair. This product definitely straighten my hair (and flattened it because RH have thin hair). My curls are gone now when I allow my hair to dry on its own; but some waves still there. It’s better to get someone to help because it was hard to finish and get all my hair (my arms got tired). It did dry my hair out some but became softer after every blow dry. I love how it feels now, even though I miss my curls too. It will get me through the hot, humidity summer though and that’s what I wanted. I was out in the heat for hours a few days ago sweating and it didn’t curl or frizz. I give this product a 10 for it’s effectiveness.

Pls read till end there is an update :First time really leaving a review but I want to make people aware when they buy this product . It’s time consuming which was ok for me if it was going to give me results I want. Problem : the product is sticky . It says to saturate the hair so I did ! Left it for 30 min . But then u need to blow dry the wet sticky hair , which is basically impossible to dry sticky hair it just gets stickier. Then u need to iron this sticky hot mess . All it did was turn my hair into a hard sticky mess that looks like straw . Then it turned my balayage black / Carmel to orange brass . Guys please know what ur getting into . I’m supposed to leave this sticky hot mess for three days ? What am I gonna do ? I guess wash it out Tom Bec I’m falling asleep and guys wear a mask the fumes from the steam makes u cough . I basically slept with it in my hair woke up the next morning and ironed my hair one more time real good ! And then washed with shampo and conditioner and air dry with an low dryer and MAGIC MAGIC MAGIC MY HAIR IS SILKY SOFT SHINY !!!! It rained the next day and no FRIZZ NO PUFF NO DULL DRY HAIR JUST SILK SOFT HAIR !!!!

Amazing results, from somebody who used a relaxer to Keratin previously. More manageable hair, yet a noticeable difference.Please excuse expression on face, took 4 hrs to as i had an afro that needed to be tamed. Unexpected but amazing results. 😉

Bottle damaged ashame as I need to use on friends hair tomorrow or I would have returned but lost 1 third.

I've used keratin products for years so I know what I am doing. The product arrived and it had leaked.The bottles did not work and I had to shake the product out onto my hand so I think I ended up with far too much product as my hair is totally saturated with the stuff and is sticking out. It does not feel silky as other treatments have done in the past. It's kinking all over the place and my hair has turned bright yellow. Don't think I can wait three days to wash it again.No directions were included either.AVOID.
