It's been difficult trying to use a Dolly to move furniture all over when you're just moving it across the room, sometimes so these are handy and there is a large box of 'Em and the slide ones that are plastic or my favorite and then the other ones would be great. I bought these to help move very heavy bookcases on Berber carpet. If you need to move heavy furniture, these are a must have! I placed the disks/pucks at each corner and now these book cases move around very easily.
