I have no idea how some can downgrade this product. It is heavier than other pans. Its job is to sit on top of a 55 gal drum, as advertised. Fits perfectly and the hole for the drain is much better than other drain pans because it is big enough to allow the oil to go down quickly. Great idea to design the pan to allow you to look down into 55 gallon drum to see how full it is from the top. I bought another pan to compare. This pan wins hands down. Definitely recommend.

This barrel-top collector is great for anyone who changes oil often and collects it in a 55 gallon drum. I suspend my drain pan above with a bungee cord to drip and set my old filters on the grid to drain. No more mess! I cut a small piece of steel window screen to fit the drain inset (as one is not built in). Great addition to my garage!

If I'm filling up used oil over the course of a year into a drum and this thing only tells me it's getting full within the top 3 inches? For the price it should be way better. Shame because the barrel topper drum funnel seems great.

This product is great no spills easy to pour used oils will allow to drain used quarts upright. Drains slowly allowing air the vent on the drum and will catch drain plug in case you drop it on the used oil

Love product. Lid is a little flimsy but does the job. Would buy again
