Star Wars: Squadrons (PS4)

You can't go wrong with star wars. Worth the price, fun game, fast delivery. Great graphics. If you enjoy flying around in an x-wing and others, you'll love this game. So far only played for a few hours and very hard to put down but I have a job soooo I had too. Definitely, o e of my. Better purchases.

Great video game, fun to play.

This game reminds me more of ‘Wing Commander,’ although I wish Mark Hamill was in this one too. Playback is smooth, frame rate is acceptable especially given my base PS4 console without the VR Helmet. Story is very forgettable and there while ‘extra objectives’ may pop from time to time, it’s essentially a fighter-pilot game with medium-sized areas for dog fights. The cut-scene animations are not too long and very skippable, and load-time between missions is very reasonable. It’s playable, but not really re-playable. Get it if it’s cheap.

Really having with this game

Typical EA games very repetitive and considering how far online games have come in the last 10 years disappointing. The game could’ve been so much more but as usual EA games comes up short just as with their other titles.

While I ultimately enjoyed the Squadrons main story and managed to clear all the thropies, it is not a type of game that you can instantly play casually. It has somewhat complex and challenging controls that i had to master first. Squadrons is a space battle flight sim that takes place in my beloved Star Wars universe. I tried to play it in VR but aside from some resolution issues I left me with some motion sickness that I’ve rarely encounter in my VR games.Even so it is one of the best Star Wars space battle games ever produced, although there were quite a few in the distant past that I could appreciate like Jedi Star Fighter. Still I’m more into adventure, world-discovering type of games like Faller Order, that I would prefer over this one. Moreover while I’m occasionally playing Star Wars Battlefront II, my young son’s favourite game, I must say while less sophisticated that also has pretty good space battles.Having said that, the Squadrons’ missions are exciting to play and look particularly great. Locations like Yavin, the Imperial ship graveyard are super detailed, breathtakingly beautiful.I haven’t played the multiplayer variant, as I like to play my video games on my own.Given its relatively low price tag Squadrons is good value even though the game itself is a bit narrow and purely focussed on space battle simulation. The story mode is around six or seven hours long, and I spent a bit more to win additional medals.

Sinceramente il gioco mi ha deluso, non ci sta una storia da seguire o personaggi particolari di star wars, devi solo pilotare un ala x e combattere e ti viene il mal di mare. Mi ha un pò deluso. Ho acquistato la versione inglese,pagandola meno, tanto la storia da seguire non è rilevante ai fini del gioco. È arrivato prima dei tempi ma comunque ci ha messo circa 3 settimane.
