seems sturdy. The shading on the outside is very subtle. You can see the double shade when it is lit. Very nice purchase.

This is actually two lampshades in one. The frosted outer layer gives a nice glow.

This lampshade is perfect. It's beautiful and was the perfect height for the reading lamp I have. The original lampshade with the typical beige and was blocking more light making it difficult to read anything. I was a little nervous about this one, but the size is perfect and the light shines through. I couldn't be happier over a lampshade and if I had another lamp that needed a new shade, I would be buying this again.

These are even prettier in person, making my living room look elegantly designed. I paid more than I wanted to, but the shades that came with the lamps I bought them for were ugly, flimsy, and had dents & creases in them. These shades are much sturdier than they appear to be too - I bumped my head on one this morning and it had zero give! Haha

Shade was a replacement for a Pier1 lamp I purchased 10+ years ago. Very pleased with it. It looks shiny in photo but it does not look like that in my bedroom. Goes well with the update I did for my room.

It looked shiny when the light was turned on and the pic didn’t reflect that at all . I can’t use a shiny lampshade to achieve the look I wanted . Looks great otherwise

Purchased for a lamp in my guest room and the shade is too small but also wasn’t the right fit. Overall the shade seems decently made and was well packaged for shipping. Taking off a point as I will be charged $20 just to return these. If selling on Amazon a requirement should be easy and free returns…

I hesitated to purchase lamp shades online, but these make a perfect upgrade to my lamps. They are simple but modern and the perfect size.
