Bluebeard's Original Beard Saver is an outstanding product. I have used many of the Bluebeards products over the years and, even when I do try some other product, I always return to Bluebeards. The Beard Saver is a wonderful stay in conditioner and I like it much more than beard oil. The scent is pleasant and it keeps my beard soft and manageable. This is particularly important since I keep my beard close shorn, usually not over 1/2" long.

This works great for my beard. Also works good if you get a sun burn on your head, oops. Has a great lime like smell that is refreshing. Leaves a non greasy shine to my beard and keeps it manageable when needed. Not as much as a wax does but a good enough job.

I decided to grow my beard a while (three months) ago. However, here in Brazil is very difficult (not to say impossible) to find beard care products. We only find shaving creams. So I read about various products and decided to give it a try. Sent it to a freight forwarder in USA then "Fedex'ed" it (expensive, but I really wanted to see if it really worked LOL) to BR.Here's my impression:It is a cream , very concentrated, so for initial beard growth you will use only a little. It's best to use it after shower, while the beard hair is still humid.It is quite refreshing, and helps a lot with beard itch on the early stages of growth (specially in hot weather when the itch is harder). It also helps to tame the beard hair and soften it a little bit (the wife says it doesn't scratch her face, as it used to happen when I tried to grow beards before, with no product to help tame the hair).The lime scent can be a little overwhelming at first, but you kinda get used to it. My wife didn't complain about it.Maybe it does not last much for longer beards, but for my three-month-old beard its lasting quite a lot. I used about half, using it once a day (ocasionally twice).NEVER in my life I managed to keep a beard for this long (and will keep it for a longer time!!!). Usually I was beaten by the itch in my face or "beard rash" complaints by the wife. This solved both my problems.I'd certainly buy this again, but before I do so, I'll try different products to see if any of them is better for me.

This stuff is INCREDIBLE ! !! I have used many products for my beard , too many to list . All of them are great but this product is Amazing . It gives your beard a full look the smell is outstanding . I have also started using the blue beard wash in conjunction with this product the results are outstanding . Give this stuff a try you will be amazed at the results you are going to achieve . A 4 oz container may seem a lot for the price but remember you need very littleIt goes a long way .

It has no scent, which is what I wanted. It is creamy and styles the beard effectively, also great. Seems to contain no allergens, which is also a must for me.The big downside is that it contains alcohol. I understand this is common in hair care products, as it helps the other ingredients dry more quickly. But my skin and beard area already rather dry. This stuff seemed to make it worse, to be honest.So I've gone back to just using jojoba and/or argon oil on my beard when it and my skin are still damp.Like their other products, it is rather expensive for what it is, in my opinion: $25 plus shipping.

I've kept a beard for about the last 10 years but only recently started to use beard oils/balms, mainly GBS and whatever my barbershop carried. After researching Bluebeards I decided to make the switch and I don't think I'll ever switch back.This is not a balm or oil, more of a cream and as a result it softens your beard and moisturizes your face without leaving any oily residue like balms and oils. It has a pleasant scent, almost like key lime pie.The only con for me is that scent does not last through the day like balms and oils. I own a cigar sharp and some of the stronger scented balms and oils would keep my beard from smelling like an ashtray all day, this does not. I imagine for most people who don't spend 12 hours a day in a smoky environment the scent will last all day.

I've been using this product for over a decade along with the beard wash and you will never have a softer beard than you will with these stuff. I have had people jealous at how much softer my beard is then their own hair, let me tell you something, when women are mad at how soft your beard is you're doing something right haha.

I have thick and coarse beards. I've tried a few products out of which Blue beards stand out. It is a bit expensive in Canada but you are getting 4oz.

Purchased it for my boyfriend and his beard is so much softer and looks fuller. He finds that his facial hair is a lot easier to manage which makes it easier to style. It smells amazing too. Will definitely buy it again.

I will never use a different beard lotion. Most that I have tried either do next to nothing or leave my beard feeling like it's packed with dried soap. Bluebeards smells great, combs through smoothly, and leaves my beard soft and manageable without feeling like there's anything left behind.

....over price. Much cheaper ones out there so this will be my last time ordering.
