Cuts 30lb braid like butter you have to actually look at it because it cuts so effortlessly haven’t used the knot tying features yet but the nail knot blade is simple enough but want to try out the loop tying blade to see if it makes it easier as far as its main function a line clipper works great

Works great on clipping braid line and a it’s good excess. What when you hook it to your belt loop that way it’s on your hip at all times if your line needs to be broken. .

The cutters don't work they are very dull and will not cut any kind of line.

Very small but very bulky if thats possible. I ordered two and one of them the cutting blade just flops about. Tried to tighten it but the screw is bottomed out. Not drilled and tapped deep enough. You cannot get any leverage to cut anything. Handles are very short. If you only fish with very small mono these may work but prove useless fishing saltwater with heavier line and braid

Works best with a vest

I bought it for its lure tuning application. I later found that the clippers are very good, the loop tier will be useful, and the knot tool is ok.

i say spare because the size is a little small. i still stick to my usual tools in my tackle bag but i always keep this as a keychain in case i forget my tools..

retractable tether works well, so do the cutters (but you have to squeeze hard) the sharpener is handy if you need it. After much practice and trial and error I mastered ? the knot tying tool and the loop maker. I found that even with my arthritic hands I can tie a more secure palomar knot and an easy double loop knot with more speed and get better (I think) stronger knots. The size is convenient and easy to carry. I will use it to cut line, tune lures, clean eyelets etc. (I found the knot tying piece works okay as a hook remover) It is well made and i expect durable. I wish it came with better instructions, even their video is not really easy to follow.

Gerade beim Fliegenfischen ist das Tool schon echt praktisch. Man hat gleich sein Schleifentool und einen Clipper zur Hand. Ist der Haken mal Stumpf kann man ihn anschleifen.Oft kommt es vor das die Ösen der Fliegen zu sind... Dafür ist dann auch eine feine Nadel montiert.Genau war ich wollte.
