Dimming works but must be activated!
Dimming function works but must be activated by turning the light off (from the remote), then hold down the fan-off button while tapping the light button twice. After that, the dimming works fine by holding down the light button on the remote. Good looking low-profile fan that is very quiet.

Perfect update to old Hunter fan
The media could not be loaded. Sleek yet not overly modern/contemporary for my style. My home is a mix of traditional/modern farmhouse and this fan is perfect. It’s nearly silent, light is bright as I like for my kitchen space. Will blend nicely with floors being installed soon.

Good fan
Looks nice. The light is very dim, wish it gave off a little more light, has a little delay when turning on the light. Does not any noise with the fan on. Good air flow.

Stylish
I had a professional install them and it was really easy for him. I love the clean profile look the blades matched my wood look floors to a T.

A great fan. I have three in my house and my wife loves them.
Quiet and effective. A nice breeze even on low speed.

Low Profile but Low Capacity Fan
The unit is specifically made for low profile needs. I believe Hunter makes a standard profile unit with the same features but with ability to add an extension pole. Unfortunately the low profile unit does not allow for an extension pole. We have 16 foot plus high ceilings. Our prior fan had no problem giving use all the air flow we needed even at that height. It was 30 years old and we just decided to replace it at the same time we were painting the ceiling. What we didn't realize was that the new Hunter had significantly lower air flow output than our old unit. It also has only three speed settings with no option to use a rheostat control (either with remote or wall swtich). We decided to keep the fan regardless because of the effort to change it again. Light on the fan is marginal at best. Don't expect to use it for reading. The unit's positives are the quietness, style and price but would warn anyone that buys this unit only if they need the low profile and do not have high ceiling.

light levels are not adjustable
From the description it seemed the light and fan levels was adjustable from from remote. The light is not adjustable from the remote, which is why I bought this fan as to save from installing a 20 dollar wall switch. The fan levels are adjustable, but you have to have the remote within a few feet of the fan to work. Wish I would have bout a much cheaper fan with the chain pulls.
