Absolutely Great Laptop
I absolutely love this laptop. I especially love the fact that it is slim, quiet, portable, has a 4k screen, whilst still having a relatively large 15.6 inch screen. Prior to this I had another more powerful laptop with a better graphics card (Nvidia GTX 960m), but because of this is was heavier, less portable and louder, which did not suit me. This laptop still has a very good discrete graphics card (Nvidia GTX 950m) and suits me much better as I am not a gamer. The all aluminium chassis on this laptop makes ot feel like a very solid unit, which it definately is, and the keyboad and touch pad are also supurb.Pros:- Slim- Lightweight- Great display (4k screen, which i believe can be configured to run at 1080p also)- Very quiet (the two fans rarely kick in when playing Youtube videos or browsing web pages, and when they do it isnt an annoying noise, but rather pleasant sound instead - unlike my last laptop which sounded like a jet)- Great keyboard and touchpad especially- All aluminium body (makes this a very solid unit)- Intel 6th generation i7 skylake processor- International Samsung Warranty- Able to upgrade SSD if desiredCons:- Battery life could be slightly better (it isnt 'bad' as such but worse battery life is the price you pay for a better screen. Just ensure that you take your laptop charger with you when you go out. The charger adapter is slim also and not bulky).- 8gb ram is soldered onto the motherboard, and is therefore not upgradable. Also not an issue for me as 8gb ram is plenty for what I need it for, but may not be for others.I would definately recommend this laptop over the current Dell XPS 15 and Asus Zenbook Pro, simply because it can match the performance of these units yet remain quiet in doing so. This is something that is important to me.

Best Ultrabook On the Market!!
Love this laptop!! I previously had the older Samsung ATIV 9 Plus model and before this laptop arrived, I thought the ATIV 9 Plus was the best laptop ever made!! This newer version takes the cake! Its built like a tank and the gorgeously sculpted aluminum chassis is FANTASTIC!! I don't use it in tablet mode much but its nice having the option to do so. The color has been changed to pure black from the dark navy blue of the previous ATIV 9 Plus model, and the keyboard backlighting is bright white unlike the greenish color of the ATIV 9 backlighting. So far I have no complaints about this laptop. Battery life isnt super long but thats to be expected in a ultrabook with these specs. I looked at all the 2016 ultrabooks and so far this one tops the list! Sharp display, rock solid design, blazing fast specs, and minimal bloatware. Trust me you wont be disappointed with this beauty.

Lightweight and fast startup/shutdown...but thats it...BATTERY IS HORRIBLE!
After doing hours and hours of research for a convertible laptop, Comparing Samsung, to Lenovo, to HP, etc I finally decided to land with the Samsung Notebook 9 Spin. I loved the idea that it said it was lightweight, not too big, not loud and the reviews were promising. So here is my breakdown of what I think about this laptop/tablet hybrid after using it for almost a month.Pros:*Lightweight*No fan (so not loud)*Windows 10 OS*Same brand as phone*Easy to carry/Compact*Very fast shut down/start upCons:*THE BATTERY!!!! (After fully charging before using it, the battery still only last no more than 4 hours MAX...thus making it a desktop in ways)*The power button on the right side can easily be pressed on accident*The Tablet display does not shift whatever direction I want it to..So have to always have tablet in same position*Cortana (MS assistant) has selective hearing*Volume for headphones is at a max of 37..so does not allow higher volume*The Computer DOES GET HOT underneath(even only using the internet)*It RANDOMLY shows the blue screen of death and restarts...especially the 1st few weeks(even after uninstalling updates, etc all the rules that the internet told me to do)Conclusion:This is an okay, budget friendy(ish) convertible laptop that starts up and shuts down very quickly and is light. But if you are looking for a laptop that you want to travel with without the battery dying while using it, this IS NOT THE ONE FOR YOU. The battery does save if the computer is closed, but once it is opened, you have 4 hours MAX before shut down. It IS NOT a super fast convertible laptop... the internet lags a lot...much slower than I originally thought it would.

Poor battery life makes this laptop virtually a desktop...
Battery life I am getting is less than 3 hours consistently. Otherwise, this would have probably been a great computer. I started with an ASUS Zenbook last year, which I loved, but was literally ONE day out of warranty and the motherboard was fried...was going to order another Zenbook but many of the ultrabook types have more RAM/better processor etc. So I ordered this one. The low battery life makes this one a no-go. Onto the LG Gram...the webcam is in the middle of the hinge. If you use the laptop close to your body it gives an awkward view of you, but acceptable. However, I tutor on-line and use an attached drawing tablet for the math problems, so I have to scoot the laptop further away from me. You could barely see the top of my head. Also, I use it for students who remotely join a live science class, and I typically tilt the screen down so the camera points at what we're working on...not possible with the crazy placement on this camera. I also found some of the Lenovo have this hinge placement for the camera. I have ordered now an Asus Q324 UA, from Best Buy, as Amazon has it only available from other sellers who were priced more than the $950 at BB. Hopefully, this will finally be the one...If battery life isn't important to you, then the Samsung Spin 9 is great. If webcam isn't important to you, then the LG Gram was probably fine too. Hopefully this helps others from getting this machine if they need a good battery life.

A most excellent laptop.
A truly awesome machine. Ideal for my needs. Not the cheapest laptop on the market by a long way but for speed, multi tasking and style, it sits top of its tree.Highly recommended.
