I don't know about it
i hear extra low bell sound, it sounds kind of distorted. I don't think that is why this is Heavy Metal version.I returned it anyway. I like the ride as clean bell. This sounds little different from the one on their website. I don't have a good experience with Meinl. Maybe just personal preference. You should hear it by yourself to judge, of course.

Save up for a better mega bell ride if you can!!
The biggest problem with this cymbal is that it is incredibly washy. I had to add a few pieces of duct tape underneath the cymbal to get it to sound decent. Other than that, it's not a bad cymbal. the bell is very very loud!

Nice, good volume and sustain
Nice, good volume and sustain, sounds great. Was expecting bell to be a little more distinct from the ride sound. Either way you can't miss the bell..lol..
