JDM ASTARExtremely Bright PX Chips 7440 7441 7443 7444 Amber Yellow Turn Signal LED Bulbs

Purchased these as blinkers for my 2016 Tundra that I did an LED headlight upgrade on. When installed they hyper flashed so I returned them. Since that time I did some research and learned that the blinker relays in 2018 and up tundras are different than the previous years. Newer relays are able to recognize the low voltage as normal. Unfortunately replacing the relay will s no easy task as it is an entire box containing other electrical connections and components. If you have a 2018 and up Tundra your lucky . The fit and finish on these is nice and they were very bright which is needed for our vehicles since the headlights over shadow the blinker.

Love the brightness and quality of it overall. But it seems that they didn't design it to fit all 7440 sockets. It won't fit on the 2008 Honda Element rear turn signal sockets and now I'm stuck with them. Going to have to try a different brand since they have no other options.

Ordered on Saturday Feb 28th, arrived on Monday March 2nd, from Calif to Florida in 2 days. Install was without problem, parking and turn signal work on both lamps. The LED light is about 1/2 inch longer than the incandescent. I was concerned about having enough room for them to fit, but no problems. The amber is not as dark as the incandescent. In the pictures the incandescent is on the passenger side, the new LED is on the driver side.Update: I noticed that when the turn signal is flashing, the "parking" light part of the LED is still on. So, when the turn signal function is operating, the light does not go completely off. so, you have the parking light on ALL the time, then the turn signal portion flashes on and off when you turn on the turn signal. I thought the parking light part would turn off when the turn signal is in operation. With the parking light on, it just makes it harder to see the flashing of the turn signal. Maybe I have the Led in backwards, but if it was in backwards, seems like it would not work. So, perhaps it is my mis-understanding of the function of this light, or maybe it is just the way the car operates. I will have to put the incandescent bulb back in and see if the parking light stays lite when the turn signal is operating. but I will not take any stars off the rating. I just never paid attention to the incandescent bulb to see if the parking element turned off when the turn signal was flashing. Will have to put it back in and see. Will update after I check the incandescent.Mar 7, 2015: I put the incandescent bulb in and it operates like this LED. the running light stays on when the turn signal element blinks. so, that is the way the car works. it doesn't shut off the running light when the flasher operates. but the incandescent seems brighter. But maybe that is because it is a darker amber color. The LED is a lighter color. But the LED bulb is a little loose in the socket. I would think if you run over some rough road, or a rail road track, the bulb might fall out of the socket. I might take the bulb out and see if I can put some electrical tape on the base of the Led lamp, but would have to cut slots for the metal wires to make contact with the terminals in the socket.Just went out and put some electrical tape (about 1 inch long piece of tape, just fold it over the bottom of the base of the lamp) on both sides of the base of both lamps, cut a slot for the wire to make contact with the socket, and fits much tighter. these are aftermarket headlights, so don't know if the loose fit is the connector on the aftermarket headlights or the lamp, but a short piece of electrical tape and a few minutes, problem fixed.

If used for turn signals, does hyper flash, tried on my 2020 Tacoma Sr5 , only works as park lights

After installing aftermarket LED heads and tails on my 2018 tundra trd sport; I wanted to upgrade my turn signals to LEDs as well. I went through different relays and expensive leds that would still cause hyperflash, I saw a YouTube video about these and read reviews online about installing this on tundra with factory LEDs and these bulbs working without causing hyperflash. Good news is they work perfectly, exactly what I was looking for, no hyperflash and I installed in 20 minutes. Highly recommended this product.

Work great for my 2018 Toyota Tundra turn signals, super bright, built in resistor so plug and play no problem. P/N 7444 required for the 2018 tundra.

really good bulbs actually, would light a little brighter but meets OEM and Incandescent light output (No flashing Dot but the whole reflector lit right up!)
