Love this rain jacket. The hood covers my head and stays in place unlike all other hooded jackets I have. It was perfect as an outer layer on my hike on a cold windy and snowy day.

Excellent jacket. Recommend. Helly Hansen is a brand I'm loyal to, their raincoats last 10+ years and are well designed. As much as I'm happy with this jacket, i do miss the days when Helly Hansen made detachable fleece liners for their windproof and waterproof jackets. I am pairing this jacket with a fleece that i bought from another HH jacket in 2002/2004. And it fits perfectly - - a benefit of HH consistent fit. However, i miss the snaps that would keep the sleeves and neck in place as i took off the jacket. I chose this model over the long Belfast jacket because this Auden has a packable hood, which folds into a stand up collar, thus preventing me from needing a neck scarf on some days.
