Great replacement product if you don't want to keep moving your Dashcam over and over in your windshield. The adhesion is great and it keeps the dash cam from moving if the windshield is hot and it keeps it secure for all day use.

Finally, my camera doesn’t fall down Dailey!!! the heat here in Southwest Florida just will not allow suction cups to hold for long periods. It’s been a couple of months now since I installed this, Now it is permanent and feels solid. very happy.

I wanted to purchase this because I was growing ever irritated with the suction cup mount constantly falling when I changed elevation or temperature swings.I finally purchased it because I got pulled over for speeding even though I know I was not speeding and now I have to use my video plus calculus to go to court to prove it. If I get pulled over again in the future, with this I have evidence against the accusation.So far it’s working very well. On the mp4 the longitude and latitude are recorded as well as speed and date time stamp. Using the vantrue video player, it gives even more accurate information with Google maps, which is pretty handy.For my next vehicle though, I will buy the N5 because this feature comes standard with the camera.Install was a breeze because already had everything in place.$20 is a great value.The only question mark I have about this is will the adhesive fail in very cold or very hot temps? More to come on that I suppose.

I do like this mount but should come with the camera rather than being a separate purchase. Some quirks though that I had to knock a star off for. First is it can be tricky to remove the dashcam from this mount. There is a release tab that should let it slide off but takes a lot of manipulation to get it to finally break free. Second may be related to the geometry of my vehicle's windshield but the cable for the rear camera that plugs into the top of the camera is put into a stressed position due to the short distance between the camera and the glass. The cable has to make are hard 90° angle right after the plug because it's come in contact with the windshield.While I like the stable mounting offered by using the adhesive strip, I'd like to have a suction cup option as well. It could add just enough clearance to make up for the cable strain issue above while also making it possible to relocate the camera in those rare occasions it's needed. I know that's a double edged sword since they tend to start legging go after time but having it as an extra options would be helpful.

I bought this GPS receiver module for my Vantrue X4S dash cam and I’m very happy with it. It was easy to install and it works well with the Vantrue player software. I can see the location, speed and route of my vehicle on a map and also export the GPS data to other formats. The suction cup mount is strong and stable and the type C USB port is convenient. The GPS signal is accurate and reliable and it adds more value to my dash cam footage. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to add GPS functionality to their Vantrue N4, N2S, X4S, N1 Pro (2023) or T3 dash cam12.

I am thoroughly impressed with this product. It holds up extremely well during interior car temperatures of +125 °F compared to the suction cup. If you are having challenges with a falling dashcam in extreme heat, I strongly recommend giving this a try.

I don’t know if the camera is supposed to slide in and out that easily. But this mount doesn’t hold my camera securely. And when that happens it triggers the camera to power off and on occasionally when the road is bumpy. Disappointed.UPDATE: Vantrue handled the matter and sent a replacement. I’ve tested it and finally felt a click when sliding the camera on the mount. Their customer service was excellent.

Seems Vantrue R & D is listening to customer complaints/reviews and finally re designed these camera winshield mounts! :)These are great for the Vantrue N4 cameras. I have replaced all four of the suction cup style in my vehicles and they have stuck to the winshield like a champ; unlike the older suction cup style which can dry up, lose their suction and drop off with your camera attached after extended periods in hot weather.They are semi-permanent once installed so do not put them over any sort of winshield defrost copper lines or the dotted black areas etc as it will pull it right off the glass when you're trying to remove.Be sure and prep the surface with naptha(denatured alcohol) for good adhesion.Hope this review helps someone out!-Hiram
