Works well but came in plastic packaging
This product was good, but the plastic packaging defeats my purpose of switching to bars. I loved this shampoo bar and can't wait to try other scents! The fragrance was incredible, and it lathered up exceptionally well. It rinses off nicely, leaving my hair feeling super clean—even on wash day, it still looks great! I'm totally sold on shampoo bars now and excited to explore more options. Can't compromise on the eco-friendly aspect, though.

Great shampoo bar
I wanted to use something more natural and found this company and its products. This is my 2nd time buying a shampoo bar and I really like it. The smell of the bars have been great and I feel my hair is clean after each wash. I recommend this product.

Perfectly lovely!
After seeing lots of advertising on Instagram and elsewhere, I was reluctant to believe the hype for this (and other) brands of shampoo bars. I mean.. it's all technically soap, right? And all soap is created equal, right? Okay.. so breaking down what I know about actually making soap, you generally start with an acid (fat, either from an animal or vegetable source), a base (typically NaOH--lye, or sodium hydroxide), and a liquid of some sort (milk, water, beer, chamomile tea, the tears of your enemies....). You do the math, measure your ingredients, and follow a specific order, and after a few weeks (or months) of curing time, you have a lovely bar of soap that won't (hopefully) take your skin off and leave you looking like a boiled prawn. Different types of fat create different results ranging to volume of lather (castor oil... how do I love thee), or a harder bar of soap that will theoretically last longer (coconut oil, I love you, too), and different additives provide exfoliation or extra moisture (honey is a humectant and is reputed to have antibacterial properties, plus it smells lovely), or other properties (egg yolks are supposed to be great for dry skin--yes, the sulphur smell does go away as the soap cures). All that was a fairly longwinded way of saying that I have fairly high expectations for how commercially produced soap behaves and what its effects are on my skin and hair. This stuff is concentrated, so you might find yourself needed to use a bit less than other shampoo bars; the lather is voluminous and soft, and I'm delighted that my hair squeaks a little bit while I'm rinsing. The scent is pleasant and not overpowering, and the bar, while small (PLEASE MAKE BIGGER BARS, PLS, THX, BAI!), seems like it's fairly dense for its size and weight. The one downside is that the bar seems softer than those produced by some of their competitors. This could just be a matter of needing to dry longer--the longer soap cures, the more moisture evaporates from it, which means it gets harder and will last longer--or it could be something to do with proportions of the different fats--superfatted soaps can also be a bit softer, depending on what's in them.On the whole, I'm quite pleased, and once I work my way through the backlog of other bars I'm testing, I might just have to order a couple more from Naples. ^_^On a separate note, since our household is trying to reduce the amount of plastic waste we generate, I reached out to the company to ask about the materials they use for packaging and shipping. Another pleasant surprise! They use materials that are recyclable and/or compostable; plastic is minimal except for what's used for any safety seals that are required by law. (Note: the little travel case comes sealed with a shrink-wrap band, and while the case itself is definitely reusable and recyclable, the band is not. Soap directly from the company arrives packaged in paper boxes and wrapped in waxed paper, which is a plus in my book. ^_^)

Amazing Product; Blew Me Away, But Scent Doesn't Linger
So I bought one of these shampoo bars because I haven’t been able to get to a LUSH store and I refuse to pay extra for shipping when buying online. I found this brand on Amazon and decided to go with them after checking my options and reading reviews. I am actually blown away because first impressions were amazing and the lasting impressions were even better. I got coconut lime and I can say it smells very accurate and not artificial. The top note is lime peel. However, I removed a star because the scent doesn’t really stay, which is what I prefer personally. The most amazing part about this shampoo bar tho is the lather. It lathers easier than the ones from LUSH. I was just in awe at how easy it suds up and gets all soapy, even with hair that wasn’t washed in a week. And then, to top it all off, I didn’t need to wash a second time. I said to myself, no way… but it’s true. I always need a second wash and even then, I never have results like I had with this bar. My hair was so light, actually smelled clean and free of my own bodily scent even, if that makes sense. But that’s what I wanted. And so instead of washing my hair once a week, I have decided to do it 3 times with a couple days in between each time because I love the way my hair feels and looks being so truly clean. This shampoo bar has changed the game. I’m going to try the pink one or the lavender one next. I hope they come out with new scents like gardenia or jasmine vanilla.

good product but won''t buy again bc of plastic packaging
The product itself is good and comes at a reasonable price compared to other bars, BUT every time you buy it comes in plastic "travel cases", completely defeating the purpose of the reason I switch to shampoo bars. Sure, its fine the first time you buy because you can actually use said "travel cases" but after that its just throw away plastic. I will buy again when they fix the packaging.

My Hair feel so clean and soft
I don't post many reviews. However, this soap is the best experience for shampooing my hair !! The lather is great, and your hair feels so clean!!. I'm not a bot or was paid to say any of this. I wish they were a bit thicker, but it may last long enough before I get another one.
