JUst received, so do notknow the durability,but I have older ones and they are on their 2nd year. You need a usb plug, which I didn't realize when ordering, the reason for 4 stars. Do not have any extras lying around, so when I get out to purchase one, I can update my review.

My kids love how we turned a vaulted ceiling living room into a rain forest! Easy to connect to each other, hang, and get started. Only down side was they didn't come with a plug

Description said it was 13 feet long. Lights actually seven feet with an additional six feet of cord. Good thing I bought two as I needed fifteen feet of coverage.

Description says you can connect up to 5 rows together. DONT! You can do 3 with no issues, but starting with the 4th, you will see a great reduction in light from that row and after. I did 5 originally and the last 2 rows were 50% dimmer. I also found that the tubes are way to light, as in weight. Every breeze blew them up onto my roof or into the gutter. Within a week, I had to fix them 3 times and then just gave up. When I take them down, I am going to glue washers to the bottom of each tube and hope the added weight will make a difference.

Deceptive photo shows bulbs with a total span of ~14’ long & ~0.5’ of cord, however, bulbs actually has a total span of ~7’ & ~7’ of cord. NEED TO EMPHASIZE: Of the 14’ span, half is bulbs and half is cord. Also, the vertical scale is 10 times smaller then the horizontal scale meaning the photo was resized where the aspect ratio was not locked.

Ordered four of these items for outside decoration. Arrived in excellent time, but one of the sets was defective. Contacted the seller and received a prompt and courteous reply and resolved the issue.Realise that they are USB and must be plugged into an adapter (purchase separately if you don't already have one lying about) in order to be connected to an electrical outlet / extension cord. This was our expectation upon ordering, though.They work great in series and have a very generous length of cord.Recommended!

The media could not be loaded.  If these continue to work for numerous seasons they will be well worth the money. People are facing our house as the drive up our street & neighbors have enjoyed these lights. They are so lovely that we are leaving them up until 1/31. These ice cycles are skinnier than some I've seen & you can connect many strings HOWEVER we connected so many that the ones at the end of the line are not as bright as the first ones.

I hung them inside so can't say as to if they are weatherproof or not.

Love these lights!I purchased two sets that simply link together via weatherproof USB - they can plug into a standard electrical socket with a USB plug.

Only issue did not come with a plug for the USB and bo remote control.

These are nice lights, they all worked on arrival and are still all working fine. Only time will tell how waterproof they really are, but the tubes look well sealed, and certainly they survived storm Barra.The USB interconnect is a great feature - (a) you don't have to trash the power adapter when/if the lights break, (b) the lights are easier to hang/store as they are in short segments, (c) if a segment breaks, you only need to take out that segment.The lights only have one sequence (which seems to be controlled by each individual tube), but that is not an issue for me.You should be aware that you only get 8 tubes per segment, so you will probably need two or three light packs to create a reasonable display. The current spec is quite high - 0.5A/segment - so you'd only be able to string a max of 3 or 4 segments together with a typical USB adapter.

Great set of lights. Have only used them indoors so don't know how waterproof they are, also I have not use the timer yet, but they have done the job so very pleased.

Effective at night but look very cheap in the day.
