Sweet spot for a medium size light
Lights come in all shapes and sizes but for me, there are three really useful categories: tiny pocket/keychain lights, massive light cannons, and then the category the FC11 occupies - medium sized lights. Small enough to comfortably carry handheld on a walk or to toss in a pocket in your backpack without weighing it down, but big enough to have considerable power and runtime. The feature set is great. Lots of light, high CRI (which to me is even more important than just the max output), nice balanced beam with plenty of flood and a bit of throw, and a UI that's easy to navigate and not overwhelmingly complex. On walks I usually keep it relatively dim just to make me visible and light a few feet ahead - but when a vehicle is approaching a quick double click goes straight to turbo mode for maximum visibility. Another single click goes back to the previous level. On the battery side, it's an industry standard size so it can be easily replaced if needed, but also features onboard charging for convenience. The tailcap is magnetized and can easily hold the light horizontally on a fridge, filing cabinet, car body panel, etc. Oh, and the build quality is excellent. This is one of my favorite lights for how well-rounded it is; it just does everything well. This my second FC11 - I bought an older version back in 2019 and it's still going strong with zero issues.

My Kind of Tactical Light
As a retired park ranger, there are several things I look for in a light that calls itself “tactical.” I want reliability, I want durability, and most of all, I want a flashlight that provides a bright beam the instant I need it, no matter what else is going on. I've been carrying this Wurkkos TD05 for a month now, and I'm happy to say it scores on all points.First things first, the light: the Luminus SFT40 LED produces up to 1800 lumens, in a tight beam rated to carry as far as 373 meters / 1,223 feet. Despite this, there’s enough spillover to light up a wide area and ensure flexibility under all sorts of conditions. I find the 5000K tint to be perfect for the flashlight’s intended use. There are several brightness levels to choose from, each useful in different scenarios. They range from the low-intensity “ECO” mode, useful when preserving night vision is critical, all the way up to the blinding Turbo mode, bright enough to disorient an approaching subject. These modes, and the others in between are accessed by a simple two-switch system. The large, rubberized push button at the base turns the flashlight on and off, while a small but easy-to-find button on the side will cycle through the four main modes, from ECO through High. To keep things easy to use in urgent situations, the high-intensity turbo mode is accessed by two quick presses on the tail switch. It's the sort of arrangement that will turn into a reflex after a few practice runs.Turning to quality factors, everything about the light feels rugged and well designed for use day in and day out. The overall build quality is top-notch, and everything about this flashlight feels well-made. The series of rings on the tube provide a secure, comfortable grip, and the crenelated bezel feels sturdy enough to use as a striking tool or last-resort defensive device. The Wurkkos TD05 also stands out when it comes to temperature regulation. Some high-intensity flashlights risk getting too hot to hold at maximum settings, while others are quick to drastically throttle their output when temperatures start to rise, but neither are a problem here. I tested for this by turning the flashlight on High and leaving it for one half an hour, and at the end of the test it was still barely warm to hold in the hand. Meanwhile, the “Advanced Temperature Regulation” system monitors the temperature constantly, and adjusts the brightness without jarring shifts in intensity.Overall, as I've come to expect from Wurkkos, this flashlight offers incredible bang for the buck. On all factors that I consider important, it stands head-to-head with products that cost two or three times as much. I’d recommend it without hesitation for use on the street, out in the woods, or at an emergency scene.

Great Everyday Flashlight!
Pros:-Good size in hand-Build quality-USB charging!-Nice warm bright light (90CRI!)-Magnetic tailcap-Has Thermal regulation-Works with regular 18650s (I have lots)-Comes with battery-Has different working modes depending on preference (Stepped mode preferred for average users)Cons:-Battery doesn't live up to 3000mah claim (closer to 2800mah, still decent though)-Button light turns off after 5 secs after turn on, would be nice to keep on while the light is onFull Review:The first thing that sticks out to me on this light is that it is one of the longer 18650 lights (at least with what I have). Internal USB charging is a HUGE plus for average users. Great build quality, it feels good in hand. The battery does somewhat rattle when you tap the tube, but it hasn't flickered at all. The magnetic tailcap is pretty cool! When you take it off, it brings the battery with it.Speaking of the battery, it is labeled as a 3000mah battery, but in my capacity tests, the highest it measured was 2816mah, but it did arrive out of the box at 3.6 volts. The light is pretty simple to use, you can assume that holding the button makes it change modes. When off, holding the button for 3 secs causes it to cycle from smooth to stepped ramping. When on, holding the button ramps/cycles the brightness levels. Double click for Turbo.I'm pretty sure the Wurkkos is under-rating the lumens on Turbo, as I measured around 1800 - 1900 lumens with the included battery on Turbo! This light does get pretty hot on Turbo, so it has thermal regulation to step down the brightness so it doesn't get too hot and burn out the LEDs. I measured a max temp of 60C on my infrared temp gun, which is pretty hot to hold, so be aware of that (it has a label on the head with a "HOT" warning for a reason). After stepping down in brightness, it held about 700-800 lumens which is still brighter than most CREE XM-L LED lights. Since I got the 4000K version, it has a warmish tone to the light, but is very smooth due to the orange peel reflector (which I prefer!) and still has a decent amount of throw. In the Beamshots, I am comparing the Imalent LD10 (1200 Lumens max 6500k) to the Wurkkos FC11. As you can see the FC11 has a much wider spot and is a much warmer tone. The difference isn't that great in real life though. The Wurkkos has a much more useable light than the LD10. You may notice that the LD10 looks brighter in the tree picture, but the difference isn't that noticable, yes the LD10 has more throw, but the light is also 6500k, which "seems" brighter because its harder on your eyes. 4000K is much easier on the eyes at night and kills your night vision less so than 6500k. The Wurkkos also has a much wider spill/flood so it actually lit up the whole tree instead of just the base of it. Also having 90CRI allows you to distinguish colors much better. If I had to complain about anything about the flashlight itself, I would make the switch light stay on when the light is on to help find the button better. Also, the battery, at least the one that came with mine, is slightly over-rated, it's labeled 3000mah and the highest I got was ~2816mah, so its more of a 2800mah battery and not 3000mah. Not that big of a deal though since I have lots of 18650s to use.I put one of my (salvaged) Samsung 20Qs (2000mah, so waay less capacity, but rated higher in current provided) in the light and it was noticably brighter! I measured the output and it was over 2000 Lumens! So depending on the 18650s you use, the light might be brighter, but its plenty bright on regular 18650s as well. I would recommend this light to anyone! Plenty bright, long lasting, small, USB charging, and not overly expensive! Overall well done Wurkkos!
