More evolution indoctrination
240pages, 9.5x12inches. It's a large book with many photos and lots of text. Full of the establishment religion evolution nonsense. I have looked briefly at this book. It has lots of establishment facts but do not be deceived by the cover most of the images are not of the spectacular colourful fish but of grim ugly looking creatures. See Roger Gallup and Walt Brown. Of course the establishment will swiftly pass over all the mysteries in nature like migration. In this book they do not even admit to not knowing how creatures without "brains" migrate. By "brains" I refer to an organ that can think. You know consider options, weigh up the benefits of the alternatives and choose the best one. You really think a fish thinks it's a great plan to migrate thousands of miles because err. "Oh yes there's great food over there I hear" and "oh yeah there are some super breeding grounds over there". Or perhaps they think, "well everyone else is going. It must be great. I'll join them" Sheepishes. Perhaps they think, "the kids will love it there. I've got a map of the world in my little "brain" I can use to get myself there". Just like disney. It seems disney is more true to life than we ever imagined. The satanic establishment will do all it can to deny God's creation and his control over creatures. The spinning globe is a satanic lie too. For flat earth truth see Edward Hendrie and Casper Stith.

Beautiful
This should be a mandatory supplement to the textbook for any introductory Ichthyology class. It would add life and color to the taxonomy chapters. The first edition was good, the second is fantastic, but why after 23 years is there no third edition? The book reviews most of the orders and many of the families of fish with interesting text and stunning photographs and illustrations. I have a lot of fish books but this is an all time favorite.

Awesome!
I am by no means a marine biologist. I don't particularly think that that is who this book is geared to. I'm just a high school student that has an interest in nature and the physical world. So why did I give it 5 stars? This book is extremely informative. I read it cover to cover and was incredibly surprised by my knowledge (or lack there of) over marine life. I loved this book. It's not really for people that do not appreciate learning as it is pretty wordy and I couldn't pronounce any of the scientific names of the fish. But it is appealing. My little brother enjoyed looking at it just for the pictures, as there are a lot of pictures, and I have to admit I found myself just looking at the pictures from time to time. I gave this book 5 stars because it came to quick and was in really good condition. It was super informative and I learned a lot. It far surpassed any hopes I had for it and I'm glad I spent the money!
