The media could not be loaded.  I now own both the small and big version of these lovely mugs. They are surprisingly fine quality in both the composition of the ceramics, and the artistic textures and patterns added to the design of the cup. The ombre design and wood handle means I get lots of questions from visitors about where I got my unique mug from!The thing I like the most though, is that despite looking really nice, it is also highly functional. It helps me filter and steep my loose leaf and even roobios tea, it holds heat well and has a lid, and even has a place to store its own filter. It's also dish washer safe because we all know we ain't got time for hand washing.Overall, I love this mug, and I slightly prefer this one over the smaller design as the handle is a bit more comfortable to hold and it is a larger capacity.

I bought this for my cousin who is 70+. He tries to stay away from coffee and likes to relax in the eves. with a cup of tea. He lives in a cabin in the woods and appreciates simple pleasures and items that look rustic or artisanal. This mug (I bought the black) seems to speak both to his lifestyle and his artistic taste... I hope he likes it. I think it is lovely and want one for myself!

I am over all very happy with this tea mug, it’s really beautiful and unique and makes the tea drinking experience all that more enjoyable.The mug came packaged very well and the delicate design is perfect.I was slightly worried that the handle would be a bit awkward or uncomfortable but it’s not, it’s very easy to hold.My only issue is that the inner infuser cup part is mostly ceramic, which does give it a much more lux vibe and looks/feels really nice, but it displaces a lot of water and makes lifting the infuser cup to drain and then placing it back in to the mug to steep a bit more difficult because there are not many holes through which the water can get up into the infuser cup where the tea is.This means that when you try to place the infuser back into the water in the tea mug to steep more you get tea spilling out around the top all over because the kinda heavy ceramic infuser displaces so much water and without that many mesh holes it can’t fill up the infuser part as fast as the water is rising in the mug around the sides of it.This also means that the mug can’t get that full if you use the included infuser.I have a photo of about how full I’ve been able to fill mine before things start spilling out if I try to dunk the infuser in and out a bit while steeping.I’m not gonna take off any stars for this but I feel like some people might want to be aware of it. And you can always use a different infuser with more mesh holes if you have one.Over all though I’m really glad I got it and like it very much.

Delivered in an incredibly well-packaged box, with foam and plastic wrapping in order to prevent each piece from rolling around in the box, or bumping against each other.The full mug and the extension to the wooden handle, as well as the lid, and the bulk of the infuser are all sturdy ceramic. I don't feel like I'm going to break any part of it just holding it in my hands and while the clinking of ceramic on ceramic experienced putting it together is always a little nerve-wracking, there have been no chips, cracks, or other signs of damage.The glaze job is absolutely lovely and well covered, with only one point, where it got a bit thick on the top of the lid, making the design in the clay only just a bit less prominent.The texture of the sculpting on the outside of the mug and the lid are clean and beautiful, with no uncomfortable or rough spots, if running your hands across it.The metal strainer in the infuser is thin enough that there are no tea leaves that are slipping through into the mug.The strainer is only on the very bottom of the infuser. This does not affect the steeping process, but it does mean that it takes a moment for the liquid to go through. If you push the infuser down into a very full mug, it will leak water around the sides of the infuser, between it and the mug, because the water is being displaced faster than it can go through the holes on the strainer. So lower it down in the water slowly, or pour your water on top of the leaves in the infuser.It is very easy to clean and I have successfully run the infuser in the dishwasher without any difficulty or damage. Supposedly the full mug is dishwasher safe, but I am nervous about the wood handle. The coating on the wood feels like it would likely hold up to it, but the point where the mug and handle meet has a small gap that I worry about water getting trapped in and possibly molding.The lid acts as a drip catcher and resting point for the infuser when your tea has finished steeping.All parts of the ceramic become very hot when the drink inside is still very hot.The wooden handle does not change in temperature at all, however the point where the ceramic is connected to the wood does heat up, so it's important to be mindful when picking up and carrying the mug after just filling it/ before it has cooled.Similar to the previously mentioned point, the lid will gather condensation from the steam of the boiling water. Take care in removing it so that it does not roll down the lid onto you. It's easy to avoid, but not something you'd think of until it happens.I have larger hands, as you can see in the last couple of images. This being the case the handle is about a 3 finger handle and when the ceramic is cooled, I find it comfortable to wrap my fourth finger (pointer) around the handle above where it joins the cup.Having the lid off, to be used as a drip catcher, the drink will cool at roughly the same rate any uncovered mug would. That being said, if you have somewhere else to move the infuser, putting the lid back on will keep the drink warmer for maybe another hour or so. Don't expect thermos levels of keeping things warm as the ceramic will still leech the heat over time, even covered, but you won't have your drink exposed to open air, cooling it quicker.Full disclosure I am sampling this product for the seller, however, my review has not been affected by this. I provided my honest consideration of the product, as a frequent tea drinking and owner of a large number of things to drink it from. :)This being said, my communications with the seller have been very pleasant! They have been very polite and helpful throughout the trial process.tl;dr:It's a great mug with a good infuser that isn't going to leave a bunch of leaves in your tea.Ceramic gets hot when in contact with hot. Be careful.Dishwasher safe, though check and ensure water isn't collecting between the ceramic and wood of the handle.Infuser displaces water faster than it goes through the holes of the strainer. Lower it in carefully if the mug is filled, or fill the mug with the infuser already in it.Really all of my "cons" are either nitpicky or more so cautionary words for anyone who is unfamiliar with how the heat permeates the ceramic.

I really like this teacup. It is pretty and works well.The cup holds 10oz of water comfortably and without making a mess when you remove the infuser. (If your tea isn't strong enough and you put the infuser back in do so slooowwly, or your cup will overflow. Learned the hard way...basic physics, Haha!) The infuser is large and works perfectly. It is large enough to hold any amount of loose tea you could possibly want. The stainless steel part of the infuser doesn't seem to change the taste of the tea much, if at all. The wooden handle is nice and sturdy, and of course stays cool even when the tea is boiling hot.The whole thing is easy to clean and doesn't seem to stain. I clean mine with a soft cloth and dish soap, because even though it says it is dishwasher safe, I don't like putting wood (the handle) in the dishwasher. It tends to dry out and shrink/rot.This teacup was a bit more than I wanted to spend, but I really wanted a nice large Chinese-style infuser teacup with a handle. I'm glad I picked this one, I am very pleased with it overall.
