Great little garden
We have three regular AeroGardens. I like those very much but they are pricey. I liked the idea of around version. This one does not have all the bells and whistles of AeroGarden but because we are experienced with this type of garden, it is easy for us to monitor and fill up with water or feed as necessary. Really easy to use. The veggies that grow are doing great!

update: only lasted 8 months
UPDATE: after only eight months one (on the left in the picture) started screaming and wouldn’t stop no matter what i did: filled it, dumped it, took it apart, refilled it, nothing, whenever i plugged it in it screamed. i’d contact customer service as it’s still well under the supposed warranty but there seems to be no way to do that. changing my review to two stars because it was nice while it lasted…***i’ve fallen hard for hydroponic systems, but really can’t see paying aerogarden prices! i’ve now bought four of the alternate brands, two 7pods for greens and herbs, and these two 4pods for flowers. these seem to me to be the best so far. i’ve put aerogarden seed pods in them and they seem to fit fine. only thing i could think to say is there’s no maximum fill marking on them (the instructions say there is) but i think i can safely estimate that now. i’m looking forward to petunias and mountain flowers this summer!

Not a bad competitor for Aerogarden Harvest 360.
I have several Aerogarden units and was considering another to separate plants by their nutritional requirements. I saw this and decided to give it a try.It is slightly smaller than the Aerogarden Harvest 360: just a bit smaller in diameter and about and inch shorter, although it says it holds 3 liters of water. The light post comes up from he center and the LEDs are directly over the four planting pod spaces; there are no LEDs between the pod spaces, so that may inhibit growth as plants get bigger. It has three light modes for 12/14/16 hours per day of light. In the different modes, the lights change. In the 14-hour mode you get white, red, and blue lights. In the other two modes it is only white and blue. I am not sure about the purpose of that. On either unit you can adjust the light to 12" above the planting deck.Aerogarden pods fit easily. The pods that come with the unit are a bit shorter and have a squarish shape. On the planting surface, there are small holes on each side of each of the 4 pods. Since I want to avoid light in the watery chamber (to prevent algae) I covered the holes. I raided my button box and found some small buttons with metal loops for shanks and those fit nicely as hole covers. This unit has room for 4 plants, as opposed to Aerogarden's 6. For me, this is not a problem. The Aerogarden spacing is so close that it is hard to manage lots of kinds of plants if you utilize each possible slot. I think this unit might be good for lettuces, to give pretty easy access to each plant for harvesting. When I measure the distance from the edge of one pod to the next, it is about 1 7/8" on this unit, as opposed to about 1 1/8" on the Aerogarden. The marking for how far to fill the unit is not visible when you are filling the unit, so it could be easy to beginners to put in too much water. The instruction booklet says they have a warranty and that you can contact them for support, but neither the booklet nor the packaging has any contact information for the company.

Works great
Great product and works awesome. Comes with grow food and pods but will need extra pods. Grows quickly and easy to transplant from unit.

Consider carefully. Has no true time setting feature.
The unit is compact.I wish that it had a way to set the time. If you start it at 5am to run 14 hours it shuts off at correct time, but it may come back on at 3am the next day. It is fine in my basement where the inconsistent timing is waking me up.

Sufficient and Cheap
It's white, that's the only downfall xDbesides that this is a great cheap priced garden pod that can help you create a variety of growth for your home. If your water level runs low an annoying beep will go off.

Ours was defective
Unfortunately, we received this as a gift and the light did not work on it. We returned it. That's not to say that we didn't just fall upon a bad one. Sometimes that happens.

Tomatoes died
I have an Idoo hydroponic and wanted an additional but smaller unit. This one works horribly, especially compared to my other one. My tomato plants grow great in the Idoo but sprout and die in this one. It's been too long to return this but I'm going to throw it away and replace it with a different brand.
