Obie-Cue'sTexas Soul - Historic Chili, Taco & Tex-Mex Spice Mix (8.4 oz)

This stuff is fantastic...I am about to buy it for the 4th time!! It gives my chili that something "extra" that makes people ask what I do to make it taste so unique/special. It is also great on scrambled eggs, mixed with sour cream on top of nachos, in any tex-mex type of casserole or enchiladas. Give it a try! It is so nice to know that there is no sugar or SALT in this mix...it is worth the extra cost to me for that very reason :)

Most of the same stuff I use when mixing dry spices in tacos myself. This saves time. 1000x better than Ortega or something like that which are mostly salt. Obie-Cue has none, and you are supposed to add salt and black pepper... Haven't tried it chili yet, but should work well with some additional cayenne, cumin and paprika... Makes amazing taco meat, have used both lean beef and turkey and honestly it comes out great.

Originally bought this because I was looking for a gluten-free taco seasoning. I have used it however on more than just for tacos. It is a great seasoning for any kind of protein you put on a salad, deli roast beef, rotisserie chicken, deli smoked turkey just to name a few. I will order this again when my latest container gets low.

Seriously the best taco seasoning i have tasted. First, it contains only spices (no filler like flour or salt) so you are only paying for the good stuff. Then, you can salt to taste at home. I love the flavor, makes me think of the American Southwest. This seasoning is really delicious and priced comparatively to the stuff from the grocery store with all the filler.

This is the best spice mixture without the trouble of making it myself. It’s perfect for tacos and chili. There’s no msg or salt.
