OPI Shine Bright Limited Edition, Infinite Shine Nail Polish System

This is a very festive mini gift set from the OPI shine bright collection for Christmas 2020. The cute hexagonal box contains 4 mini sized bottles, consisting of 1 x 3.75ml Infinite Shine pro stay primer, 2 x 3.75ml Infinite Shine long-wear lacquers in Red-y for the Holidays and Heart and Coal and 1 x 3.75ml Infinite Shine pro stay gloss. It's also made in the U.S.A! and OPI products are found in nail salons world wide, it's good stuff!The primer goes on easily and dries quickly giving a good base for the classic Christmassy red that is so rich and shiny and gave excellent even coverage in just one coat, this also dried very quickly and I finished it with the shine gloss. I was very pleased with the result. Next I tried the Heart and Coal shade which is a slate grey, almost a black shade that is packed full of holographic glitter and perfect for a party! This also covered extremely well with one coat, and 2 coats made it opaque, but it did dry with a rough feel to it (it’s all that glitter!) so this really does need 1-2 coats of the shine gloss on top to make it feel smoother.At £23.90 you may think that this is expensive, but the quality of the products you get in this set are second to none and it shows in the flawless, lasting results it gives. Yes, the bottles are small, and yes, you may find cheaper alternatives but, not many give full coverage in one coat nor do they last past 1 or 2 days like this fabulous brand does...so with multiple coats and frequent re-dos, you are saving money in the long run!More reasons to love these mini bottles are that not only do I get to try more OPI products and shades (as it saves me splashing out on full sized bottles that may not suit me) but also, as I never ever use a full sized bottle of any nail varnish before either, I’ve gone off the colour, or the polish itself has gone off and become thick/runny/separated, these minis cut down on waste ~ not only good for my purse, but also the environment.This mini set could be a lovely gift for someone special this Christmas, or you could treat yourself to salon perfect nails, you won’t be disappointed;)N.B. The photos don't catch the holographic quality of the Heart and Coal shade, so taking the photo out of focus was the only way to show its true shine.

Unfortunately I wasn't impressed by Puttin' on the Glitz, it looks lumpy with lack of shine and my nails have a OPI top coat on! I can't get the result in the advertised photo. I took a gamble but I won't be rushing to get another with chunks of sparkle this big. The layers dry quickly and look okay from a distance, just not worth the price.

You need to polish 5 times to have a good colour! But the colour itself is great

Although the advert states that the polish has a glossy finish please ignore. Dried in a Matt finish and rough to touch. Misleading information provided in the title “shine bright” no shine to the finish at all. Very disappointed

Very nice nailpolish. The photos show 1 layer, 2 layers and 3 layers.

I use the system anyway but was nice to have sparkly nails on Xmas Day
