YehudaGefilte Fish Imported from Israel 24.0 OZ (Pack of 2)

I use this gefilte (other than homemade) fish for breakfast , lunch and dinner. Use for Holidays .

Gift for great grandson. No complaints.

We used to buy Manischewitz Gefilte fish in the past. Yehuda product is much better. Price is the same.

the other brands are all worse. these are acceptable if you can't get the zero sugar frozen loafs @ kosher butcher; those are 4 star like we had traditionally.

And Yehuda Original is good gefilte fish. Recently, over holidays, I found myself in possession of 3 different jars of gefilte fish: Manishewitz Gefilte Fish, Manishewitz Premium Gold Gefilte Fish, and Yehuda Original Gefilte Fish. I took the opportunity to conduct a taste test. Hands down, Yehuda was the winner. Firm, not globby. Tasty, not overly salty. That it is from Israel is just a bonus. No kidding. I'm not a Rabbi, nor do I play one on tv, but --- as a person of the Jewish persuasion who grew up eating gefilte fish for lunch with his Russian Grandfather at Hammer's on 14th street off 2nd avenue on the Lower East Side - within that context, I have expertise. Yehuda Original is excellent gefilte fish. And they didn't send me a jar for writing this review, not a box of matzoh, not even a yartzeit candle. Feh. It's good anyway. Remember, eat it chilled. Room temperature gefilte fish is blecchh.

This product is an absolutely delicious, effective and simple way to lose weight as part of a fitness program. It is low calorie and high in protein. For me it has acceptable levels of carbs, cholesterol and healthy fats. I encountered it at a local supermarket for a short time around Christmas. I bought all of their limited stock. I then encountered it again at another supermarket but they were immediately sold out. I had previously sent some via Amazon across country as gifts.I recently placed this order for myself. I bought all that Amazon had in stock. It was the most expensive option but the other cheaper options were sold out.The order was very well packaged and arrived safely.
