Globe Men's Dover Explr Skate Shoe

I work on my feet all day and am always looking for affordable and durable shoes that I don’t mind scuffing up but fit my style. These are the best so far. I would rate these somewhere between the affordability of the Vans MTE mids and style of Doc Martens Chelsea’s. Kind of the best of both worlds. They’re snug, but I bought a size half smaller than usual so I expected it to be a little hard to put on the first try. Once I had them on, I was instantly confident in their performance. Wore them for over 10,000 steps without breaking them in and my feet feel great and still look brand new. No creases or marks. The neoprene ankle protection is an awesome extra that I felt cool my ankles from above rather than within. The sole is hard core and would be awesome for winter weather. The sole extends over the toe and around the entire shoe, which gives extra security. Great shoe overall, can’t wait to see how long they last!

Where do we start! For starters got the box was excited opened up the box and was even more excited at the nice design and the look was ideal. Check photos for color and design quality, was supposed to be the ideal rugged slip on. First issue could even get my foot in the shoe initially as it was so tight around the ankles that god him self would have casted these slip on to hell. Finally after managing to get one foot in, the shoe felt like a scuba divers bootie, which being a diver for decades having a booty like this for water sport would be great, but not for everyday wear. The item didn’t breathe and not only that you could not wear a sock with this item as the neoprene wouldn’t allow you to get your foot into the shoe. Overall probably one of the worst designed shoes I have ever put my foot into. Great Idea, poor execution! GLOBE you need better design artist and engineers as this product should not have left the design floor. I beg you make this same exact model without the neoprene and these would be the ideal rugged slip on for modern millennials looking to have a kickback style.

Very comfortable fits snug hell to get them on your feet . Just add a zipper

I have loved these shoes and put them through more wear and tear than any others I've owned and they're still going strong. I just wish they still manufactured them as my only regret is not buying two pairs when I first got them.
