Kinda bogus
These are being purchased at a big box wholesale club and resold here. The store label was still on the package. They get the job done, but the hemming is shoddy and isn’t going to hold up. They are extremely coarse, loosely woven cotton – – essentially, shop rags. They wash up very stiffly and twisted. That said, they are absorbent and unless they fray excessively when the hems come out, I think they’re going to do what I need them to do, which is help me cut down on my paper towel usage for one-and-done wiping.

Nice bar mop towel - wash before use
I bought these to do some heavy duty cleaning on a car I'm restoring - I needed something with texture to help 'scrub' vs. using microfiber towels. I checked out the local hardware stores and they all had super thin, cheaply made towels that were both expensive and poor quality. After doing some searching through various listings on Amazon - I found these towels - and I thought they might be a good fit so I took a chance after reading some of the reviews. The towels are exactly what I wanted - like a bar mop towel and of acceptable quality. The warnings to wash them prior to use should be heeded - they produced a LOT of lint on the first wash. I had to empty the lint screen three times during the drying cycle and some of the towels had balls of lint stuck to them when I pulled them out of the dryer. I shook them out and folded them up - no big deal. I have only used a few of them to date and they've held up very well. Washing them will yield many more uses and I expect that they will be around a while.I would definitely buy these again (and may). They're less than half the price of the locally available hardware store towels and they're better quality.

Perfect for use in refinishing cast iron
I ordered these after ruining several bath towels in the process of refinishing antique cast iron cookware and bakeware. I thought the stains would come out! No such luck. Since bath towels are pricy, I went in search of a cheap but durable alternative. These are perfect. They're a good size and nicely hemmed, and the density is just what I needed. They're thick enough to absorb the grunge that comes off after stripping cast iron of crusty burnt-on seasoning and rust but thin enough and nubby enough for me to really scrub with them. And the low per-towel price means that I won't grieve over them when I finally wear them out.

Best towels on the market for my use
Best towels on the market for my use. I use these as shop towels. I work on heavy trucks and got so tired of the towels falling apart on me while trying clean a part or wipe something down. These only cost me about five dollars more the packs I would buy locally but are 3 times better quality. I have ordered these 3 more times since my initial order. When I get to my last pack I order 4 more so I never run out.

Perfect Cloth/Rag - washcloth-like texture and soft
These are a perfect weight cotton cloth. I’m a Professional Housekeeper and I use them for every surface. Be sure to wash them first and change your lint trap on the dryer. There’s a ton of lint the first time but after that they wash and dry great. The cloths in the picture have been washed and dried. (At least 20 times)

Handy towels for quick clean ups!
I'm a science teacher and we do many labs that involve water and other liquids. Paper towels were used so much I was going broke! A fellow teacher suggested getting cloth towels and it has made ALL the difference! Now I don't fuss at the students for making a mess and using a roll of paper towels to clean it up. Just get a towel - very absorbent - clean it up, and I wash them weekly at home! These handy towels have endured chemicals, food coloring, cleaning dust and cleaning spills on the floor and still come out white! I recommend them for anyone who cleans up messes often.

Excellent, versatile cloths for the money.
I got these for two reasons: to clean up stains on my carpet and to keep in my truck for when I have to (inevitably) do some kind of unplanned repair. Because they're white cotton, although they're thin, they do both jobs quite well and you can't beat it for the price. They're durable to throw in the wash and as long as you don't get a small hole in it, you can wash and reuse lots of times. If you do, somehow, get a small hole in it, like if it gets snagged on something under the hood, and you wash it, it will unravel and that small hole will become a very large hole. Again, for the quantity and the price, it's not a big deal at all. If you're a petrolhead or have dogs who like to pee on the carpet during thunderstorms, these cloths are for you.

These towels are PLUSH - latest are not
I've been waiting for these towels to regain their "plush" status. Last 5-6 orders were not so plush. These are perfect - just like the original towels I ordered from Sam's. I'm scared to wait for my next order - they better be "plush". I filed a complaint with Sam's - the owner of the towel company called me to explain that costs had made him lessen the "plush" of the towels. Shame on him. Congrats to the latest provider.OK - next order just arrived - looks like a different supplier----pretty rough texture, not plush, dang!
