Delicious coffee, but not that elusive Blue Mountain you’ve been searching for...
This is not the Jamaica Blue Mountain that one could get about 10 years ago and experience the magic of this region’s coffee. I’ve spoken with several people that are coffee expert‘s in the industry and what they tell me is that the region where the coffee originally came from that was so amazingly delicious is a very small geographical area that cannot support the large demand for this coffee, thus, growers have extended the coffee to higher heights and deeper depths on the mountains of Jamaica in order to be able to grow larger batches of coffee and therefore the flavor has been altered because the magic only happens at a very narrow bandwidth of the mountain altitude. I thought the price was too good to be true and it was—but to be fair—this is very good coffee! Just not $35/pound-level coffee, in my opinion. I’d gladly pay $18/lb and keep it in my daily rotation.

Not light roast but still very good coffee
First off I am giving this 4 stars because if this a light roast their dark roast has to be charcoal. With that said I was concerned this would not be real Blue mountain coffee but took the risk anyway. Im not a coffe expert but do love my joe. I have had Blue mountain coffee a few times and everytime Silky smooth. This coffee even being dark roasted was silky smooth. Beans looked good and taste is wonderful. I would however prefer a medium or light roast for Blue mountain. Is this really Blue Mountain Coffee? I dont know but it sure does have that same smooth finish I remember from Blue Mountain in the past.

Beware, EXPIRED!
I bought this coffee because my husband raved about the Blue Mountain he had in Jamaica and this one had good reviews. It came Feb. 21 and the taste wasn't anything to talk about. The coffee beans were very dull and looked old but the gold expiration sticker had a few more months. My husband was curious and started peeling stickers. There was a white EXPIRATION sticker of JAN. 21 2019 UNDERNEATH! In my book that's fraud! Never again!

coffee tastes burnt
The description says light roast, but label on the bag states "medium" and beans look like dark-medium roast.I think this coffee is over roasted and this is why it does not have a delicate taste that real jbm coffee has.

Thin and weak no matter how strong you make it. Don't spend it!
The beans are pale, not uniform - something must have gone wrong with harvest or roasting. Do NOT waste your money on this. The Magnum Jamaican Blue Mountain Blend is much, much better. You can see the Blue Mountain beans in the blend, and there's lots of them - the coffee is rich and fragrant. Plus it's cheaper. I will never buy these again. What a disappointment. But I did notice another reviewer commenting on its changed appearance - so maybe this is something new they should stop trying.a week or two later: Just FYI I showed the beans to a friend who's something of an expert. He said the beans were stale - and that very good beans had a roasting date, not an expiration date.

OK flavor but Very High acid content like no other Jamaican Blue I have ever had
OK flavor but Very High acid content like no other Jamaican Blue I have ever had. Especially for a Dark Roast! Have had many, many brands of Jam Blue over the years. Disappointing. Lots of claims on the package about being " the world's best tasting coffee" & "ultra premium". Not even close in my opinion. Couldn't return it of course since it is a food type item & once opened, non-returnable. Don't wast your money.

This is not Jamaica Blue Mountain Coffee
I've had a LOT of Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, and I can tell you, for sure, that either a) This is NOT Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee, or b) it is EXTREMELY low grade Jamaica Blue Mountain coffee that has been over-roasted to the point that it tasted burned. Pro tip: real Jamaica Blue Mountain costs +/- $80 / lb. You might find some on Amazon for a bit less, but $30? That should've been my tip-off. AVOID!
