I bought this yarn to make hats for newborn babies. They were beautiful when finished. I have donated them. This yarn is soft which is a must for newborns. Love this yarn thank you BambooMN.

This is gorgeous yarn. It's very soft and the color is exactly as shown.

I ordered this to crochet minions, along with yarn from Michael's (woollike, superfine, weight 1). There is no weight category on the label (other than 3-ply), but it's not noticeably different in size than the Michael's yarn. It's 100% acrylic and much softer than I expected for such an inexpensive yarn. It has a fairly loose twist and is quite prone to splitting (which is why I knocked off a star). It also tends to get sort of fuzzy as I crochet, but the fuzz isn't at all noticeable in the finished stitches (I included a picture of my in-progress minion) . It is definitely not a good choice for clothing, because I don't think it would wear well. It's also too thin for most types of clothing, other than socks (and it is unlikely to hold up or breathe well for socks).Some reviewers mentioned the small skeins. Be aware that the multi colored packs are bon bon sized...10 grams each. The single colors are 4 skeins of 50g each, about the size of a medium potato.Overall, there are more expensive yarns that would be much higher quality. And there are cheaper ones that would be lower quality. This yarn is a pretty good compromise between the two.

I love these little skeins of yarn! I am making a project that calls for scraps of sock yarn and I didn't have any but needed several colors. This is PERFECT! They are so small and adorable that some of these will be used as a "crochet/knitting basket" for my granddaughter's American Girl Dolls. This company has been consistent on quick shipping and quality products.

These are very cute -- no bigger than a ping pong ball or so -- and are technically made of useable yarn, if your intention is to knit/crochet with them. However, note that despite the name the yarn has absolutely no bamboo fibers in it, and the quality of the yarn is pretty poor. Perhaps it should be assumed given the price, but the so-called yarn really reminded me more of trying to crochet with cheap embroidery floss... that is to say, absolutely no give to it, splitting constantly, easily tangled, no sheen, etc. I got it because I just needed tiny amounts of various colors and didn't want to buy full skeins, so for that it fulfilled my purpose. But even for this price, I really wonder if it was worth it.

Nice yarn for the price, and a pleasure to work with.

Lovely colours, way smaller than I’d anticipated but enough to do granny squares - not much else. Fab for tester stitches and accent colours in small toys for example.

I bought these yarn packs because I've started crocheting Amigurumi and wanted lots of colours in small amounts.This yarn is really tricky to work with smaller hook sizes, it splits very easily.Having said that, the colours are vivid and bright, and the small size ball is perfect for what I need.

Decent for small projects

Love the colours and the feel of the yarn. I'm planning to make a throw using granny squares with all the colours. Can't wait to see how it turns out.
