LOVE these 1 1/2" straight pins with ball ends!!! READ WHY!
I'm a seasoned sewer...especially like to quilt and make projects...my pins get used up in multiple projects sometimes. I hesitated to order additional pins because I LOVE the pins I already use and just hoped that these would be similar. THESE PINS ARE IDENTICAL...just the right length for me (I've tried quilting pins and they're a bit too long for me) and I really enjoy the colorful pearly ends...pins are nicely smooth and sharp so they go through the fabric easily and thin but sturdy so they don't leave holes in your fabric. When I need more I'll order here. GREAT price for the pins and the seller included a spare seam ripper and measuring tape! THANKS!

These pins are packaged each color in its own plastic box.
I like the fact that you get what is shown on your screen. There is a measure tape and a nice seam ripper in addition to all the sharp pins. The pins are their individual plastic box by color. So nice and handy. I use certain color for one project and on another project I use another color. Helps organize your sewing projects. Would definitely purchase again or give as a gift.

Good for the price
The pins arrived with half of them falling out the package (and several of the pin boxes had cracked plastic), but aside from that everything seems to be fine. The pins are sharp enough and magnetic, if a little flimsy, but you get so many of them it’s easy enough to replace and honestly I’m pretty hard on my sewing pins anyways so I expect some of them to bend. The measuring tape is accurate in both inches and cm. The seam ripper is fine; nice to have as a backup but wouldn’t be my go to as the point on it is not super sharp, but I bought this kit primarily for the pins so really that was just a bonus. Overall, yes, I would recommend this product.

Great bargain
Joann fabric sells 150 pins for like 4 dollars. This is a fantastic deal, and the seam ripper is large and worth it just by itself. These are a little shorter than my standard pins though, but i might have just got the wrong ones. Still a good size regardless, and i dont think itll hinder me much. I also got these insanely fast! Amazon said theyd come a day early, and they arrived a day even earlier than that.

great for my purposes - needlepoint ornament finishing
I needed more pins for crafting purposes (finishing needlepoint canvases as ornaments) and this was perfect. I like that the ball at the end is slightly larger than some other pins I have, it's easier for me to hold and get a grip on it. Each box holds a different color. I like that a measuring tape and seam ripper came with the pins, all useful things for me. The only thing I noticed was a few pins in each box are sometimes stuck together at the ball side, like maybe when applying the color to the ends, they're still wet and get stuck as they dry. The paint sort of comes off when I break them apart and it's a little jagged, so I just throw those out. To note, it hasn't been many, only like 3 or 4 in the 3 boxes I've used so far.

Some are completely dull
Good value, but some in the box are completely dull. I noticed as they won’t even puncture the fabric. So far it’s been 1 in 10 are dull.

No Point - literally!
I’ve opened just one pack (the are separated by color) and so far a bunch of the pins have had NO point on them at all. It’s like trying to stick a pencil through the fabric! The ones with a point do work just fine, but routinely finding the ones without a pointed tip is annoying.

Need sharper point
The pins are a good length and easy to hold, but the ends are not very sharp and have to be forced through the fabric.
