Hands down, this is a fantastic movie. I watch it every few years and it's always satisfying.

This movie does a great job of capturing what it was like for the early settlers.

Watched as a kid still loved the movie

That's when men were men and now we got a bunch of sissies. From beginning to end my eyes were glued to it and not my phone. The movie is older than I am yet it holds its own. It has a little bit of everything; comedy, drama, romance, action, wholesomeness, and good values.

Jeremiah…Man turns his back on society, ventures deep into the mountains, still wearing civil war striped pants. Has it rough until older, wiser mountain man shows him the ropes, he then propers, gets along well with local natives, gets a companion, adopts son, a kid so shocked after Indians attacked his family that he won’t speak. All is well until white men show up, asks his help as a guide to rescue some people stranded. Fatefully agrees, trespassing through sacred Indian land, returns home to find his family slaughtered. The rest is retaliation against the tribe. You won’t fall asleep watching it. You turn the volume up to hear dialogue, then get hit with nearly ear-splitting music.

REALLY ENJOYED THIS MOVIE PURCHASED THE DVD GOING TO GET THE BLU RAY AS WELL
