Purchased in 2021. Have used for almost 4yr on oil changes, brake fluid and even differential lube. Works great. I'm impressed.

Compact size. I used it to change the oil in my lawn mower; it went well. The tubing kept on rolling up, I had to tape it down.

Received and assembled in 5 min. Super easy. Attached battery clamps to riding mower battery. Inserted suction tube into oil fill inlet. Strung the oulet tube down into an old milk jug. Turned on the power switch and it started pumping. Clear tubing allowed me to see old oil flowing up and out and into the milk jug. Took over 5 minutes to pump out 1.5 qts of oil. Never used something like this before so not sure what is normal. Seemed pretty slow to me. Only reason its not a 5 star review. Motor got a little warm by the end, so time will tell how it holds up. All in all, for the price, it's a great way to change oil versus struggling the manual way as my mower's oil outlet is in a very hard place to get to.

The media could not be loaded. I have unpacked the pump and examined the kit parts and all look to be 1st quality and sturdy. I will post an update of the performance of the pump when I change oil this weekend. Update:I assembled the hoses to the pump (easy) and pumped out the oil in my scooter. I did add 20 drops of some thin oil I had (transmission oil) to pre-lubricate the pump before I turned it on for the first time.As you can see by the video, the pump rapidly removed the quart of oil from the scooter engine.Make sure you secure the outlet hose to the container as it wiggles a bit. Good suction power and easy to use.I’m happy with the purchase - does a great job.

Broke during first use. Heated up the oil to temp suggested (not too hot but warm enough to thin the viscosity). And worked great for all of 5 minutes. Started to lose power/slow down and then smoke started coming from it. Sellers website link doesn’t work either. Luckily Amazon refunded my money. Save yourself the hassle of this cheap piece of plastic and spend money on a better made pump.

Purchased this pump to move waste oil from large bottles a friend supplied to my waste oil tank. It is cold here, in the 30's and the pump will not move the oil. I am sure it will work better when the oil is warmer, but it seems this pump requires pretty warm oil that has minimal viscosity. Keep this in mind when purchasing-it won't pump viscous oil.

I was not happy with the solder joints on the motor so I resoldered the wires into the holes on the 12 volt motor. I also checked the orientation of the three pairs of vanes inside the suction pump and aligned them all so that the convex face was in contact with the machined wall of the internal surface of the pump to prevent scoring while running dry. The output of the pump was somewhat frothy but it did reliably pump the oil out of the sump of the engine. I liked the separate on/off switch so that I did not have to remove the power clamps from the battery. The pump performs well and I anticipate that I will use it on all of my oil change tasks in preference to the tedious manual hand pump evacuators that I have used for many years. I like that the output hose has a self-sealing fitting so that oil stays in the hose instead of leaking out into the packaging.

Pump works fine. With hose being small, it takes some time to transfer liquid. Have patience.

Made fast work for a transmission fluid change. Very impressed. No glitches, worked flawlessly like it was advertised to do. I did lubricate it prior to use. Open the screws on the top, 4, and then inside another 3, and sprayed it with lubricant spray. Certainly was a time saver and had plenty of power, took only moments to extract the fluid. Happy with this purchase!

Couple issues. Suction tube included is very narrow and struggles to pickup oil. The pump gets very hot quickly. May be a hazard if it doesn’t get time to cool down. Would
