I like the idea of memory foam mattress but I would never purchase one again. They mould around your body and don’t allow ventilation due to the micro bubbles inside which lead to sweating in bed. Also I have been waking up with a bad back quite a lot, but that is just my opinion. Other people may like this style mattress, but not me. I got it for my partner and wish I never did as now I have to use it too. Note to self. Be more selfish.

Don't bother... you get what you pay for... this is not good enough...I should have known better. Shame Amazon let themselves down selling cr#p likes this.

Fits a normal size single bed and is surprisingly comfortable. Perfect for the bunk beds I’ve just put in for the grandchildren.

Delivery by DPD failed to deliver promptly and resulted Matress being folded in half longer than needed. Consequntly the fold difficult to get out and still there is a slight dip. The size was 134 cm rather than 135 stated. Corners also short of the stated 15cm depth.

First things first - this product's tagline is a little misleading. It's not a memory foam mattress. It's a high-density foam mattress with a 1-inch layer of memory foam on top. The mattress is no worse off for this, though. Pure memory foam mattresses are ideal only if they are the perfect density for a particular user. If the foam is too soft, this results in the person sinking into the mattress - this less-than-perfect support can exacerbate back pain and postural issues. If the foam's too dense, this can prevent optimal blood flow, causing numbness and frequent wake-ups to adjust position. But when the memory foam is just a topper, as is the case with this Amazon Basics mattress, the balance is just right. The main foam core provides perfect support, while the memory foam layer delivers extra comfort and warmth. The only people for whom this mattress might not be ideal are those with a preference for an especially hard or firm mattress.As with all foam mattresses, unroll it and then leave it to air for a few days in a well-ventilated room. This allows the foam to fully expand but more importantly it allows chemical residue scents to dissipate. Never sleep on any new memory foam mattress or pillow that hasn't been through this airing process. The chemical residues from the manufacturing process can be harmful if inhaled, so the ventilation procedure is important.In terms of comfort, this Super King mattress is excellent. As with most Amazon Basics products, it represents good value for money. You could pay two or three times as much for a brand mattress that's less comfortable and less supportive.Five stars without any hesitation.
