Very smooth, moisturizing. Glides over your lips and doesn’t make them worse over time like Carmex or others with mentholatum that removes more moisture than they add.

Really love the luscious lavender! The scent is wonderful and it's a smooth, slightly oily application which feels really nice. I wouldn't say it's protective but is very soothing. The container is oval which was a surprise but I got used to it. I do need to hold it sideways to apply otherwise I think it would wear down only in the middle but that's a very minor issue.

I'd like to preface this review by saying that I hate putting stuff on my lips: lipstick, lip balm, all of it drives me mad. But my lips get dreadfully chapped and I bite them a lot, so I knew I needed something to help heal them. For the price, this lip balm is pretty amazing. It doesn't feel too gunky on my lips, like most other chapsticks I've tried, and the lavender taste/smell is nice, albeit strong. It does seem to help my lips fairly quickly, when I remember to use it. I'd definitely recommend giving it a try.

I've bought many $20-30+ lip balms, and none of them soothe / hydrate like this one does! And the lavender isn't too strong. Great!

best lip balm ever

This is the best lip balm I have ever used. It refreshes and feels good on. It smells so good you may want to put it on your hands too…I wish that Whole Foods would carry it or other health stores in Monterey or Santa Cruz. My first one is now used up and I am buying another one now.
