Great for the price. Switch prob easy to avoid
Great for what my needs are and zero problems w breaking switches. Maybe here is why incase it eases one persons frustration. After reading all the complaints about the switches breaking, I began to think how could this be avoided. The mfg offered nothing. When mine arrived I decided that BEFORE i shoot them I would carefully test each switch. Once on, I left them on for about 5 mins and then turned them off. Most of them did so with minimal effort. A few were still hard. I then exercised each switch a few times and this helped significantly. Since..... I’ve not had any problems and now have started my second pack.I only use them for practice but would not hesitate using to hunt. Like a new light switch it relaxes after just a few cycles. I also wonder if the forces of its first turn by shooting may be making them stick or even embed into place. Exercising beforehand may make the difference.Food for thought.

Good concept, terrible quality.
Having used similar nocks that require pushing some sort of tool into a hole to turn them off, I liked the idea of the exposed sliding switch. The price seemed to be a bargain. I placed the order October 12 but never received the nocks. Following up with Amazon, I was given credit and reordered. Archery season was over by the time I received the nocks. Two packages of six. Of the twelve, seven had the switch in the on or almost on position. Two of those had dead batteries. The other ten could be made to light by pushing in the button at the base of the string groove. All but two required the button to be pushed deeper than flush with the base of the groove. Even they don't work. It's like the clear plastic part is too tight on the red plastic switch for it to slide freely. Big disappointment!

Switch is WAY TO STIFF!
Fitment was excellent! Measure the ID of your arrow shafts to make sure before you buy. Nice and bright! I bought the red ones. The reason for 2 stars is the switch issues... They are very very (did I say very?) tight in the housing. I tried to lubricate them prior to use and to switch them on and off a dozen times but to no avail!! I did read the other reviews so I had an idea they might be an issue but still I ended up breaking 4 out of 6 and had to get a pick tool in order to turn 3 off, the 4th will never turn off until it runs out of juice. Anyway they would be great if the switch design was adjusted a bit to allow a smooth on/off. Consider yourself warned.

won't turning off
I purchased for my son and told him to sight in his bow since they have a different weight. He shot and 5 of 5 out of 12 and 7 still in package.Once shot light cannot be turned off for future shooting. So once used they are only trash so no practice or reuse on another day.Very disappointed, do not buy these you will only have to return them.

Brightness Good, Quality Bad
I ordered the red LED set and was impressed by how bright they were at the 50 yard range I shoot at. While I am not using the best arrows in the world, BlackOut X5 Envy Carbon Arrows, the fit was not consistant. Some were pressed in so tight a blade was utilized to swivle the knock to the position I needed them in, others could be moved by just 2 fingers and yet others would move on the string. The switch is the main complaint. IT IS CHEAP!!! Plaastic breaks way too easly and is so stiff you will need some type of tool to turn them on and off. Since the switch construction is so cheap, the switch studs broke off on 3 when trying to turn them off and one when trying to turn it on. Those that do work, some are easly turned on by a finger nail and a table top, yet others require as stated earlier a tool and careful pressure so you don't break the switch leaving them on and wasting the battery.

Not the same as earlier models
I have ordered these before with great results, however this shipment was different, the knocks would activate and turn on when shot from the bow without an issue, but were extremely difficult to turn off. Two of the switches sheared off when trying to turn them off leaving the knocks on (lit up) without any way of turning them off. They ended up running out of battery (after about a week, which was really impressive).

They work pretty good.
I will say that they are plenty bright. Only things I dislike about them is that the switches to turn them off are pretty dang stiff. I have to use a screw driver on mine. One switch broke off completely. And after around 20 to 30 shots or so one of them is flickering. I have them on both my target arrows and hunting arrows. So good news is they should work fine for when it really counts on my hunting arrows. Much cheaper than others is the best part about it. Haven't checked to see how long they actually stay lit. But I shot my target for a good three hours or so. And they were still just as bright as the first shot. Minus the one that is flickering of course. I'd buy them again.

Switch Breaks Easily
The on/off switches are very difficult to move which would actually be a plus if they weren’t made of cheap plastic that bends and breaks. The lights themselves were great and battery lasted about a week after being turned on and left on due to switches breaking when trying to turn them off.
