MERCEDES-BENZ, The SLK models: The R171

There is useful information in here and wonderful photos, but the writing is not the best. Perhaps it suffers from translation, or perhaps the author is simply someone who knows loads about SLKs but simply is not a born writer. It's still a useful book but a bit tedious to read. Maybe an aggressive editor would have helped.

This book is excellent for any owner of a R171It is comprehensive and as a owner it's opinions are spot on.The book is up to the high standards of his other books and this one could be considered the SLK bibleIt also makes for a Good re-read and reference. Very well done

The Author fairly gushes about our R171 cars. It reads like a spectacular 200 page Sales Brochure!The book provides a decent history and development details that give the reader an "Insider Look".Many colour photos and cutaways, combined with much advice and troubleshooting.I recommended it to our R171 Owners group on Facebook.

A bit of an amateur effort compared to other books on the subject. Author needs a good editor!
