So, I don't normally write reviews but felt that after many hours/days/months of deliberating if I should even try an ILP machine let alone whether to go for the expensive high street option or not, I felt I owed it to those of you who may have found yourselves in the same predicament!So, first off. For the first 4 weeks, I followed the instructions to the letter. 3x wks 1-2, 2x wks 3-4 but after that, it says every 15 days... By this stage, I was seeing some tiny results, the odd patch of area where I had no hair growth and some hairs coming through less think but I was still needing to shave every time I sneezed! (Yes, I am that hairy regrowth seems to be a problem for me at the slightest thing that would make your hairs stand on end!). So I took it upon myself to do a 5th week same as wks 3-4 and am now down to once a week.I have done my feet, legs, bikini and chin area. I am just into week 7 and I am now shaving my legs and under arms once/twice per week. The regrowth is there but its so fine you cannot see it but you can feel it, It's more fluff than hair and my partner says I no longer feel like he's sleeping next to a cheese grater! If I want to get up in the morning and put a dress/shorts on, i can without worrying what the state of my legs look like. I also don't have to plan what days I go swimming around my shave days which is the best!!The chin area is another story... I am just glad we are wearing mask everyday as it seems to be getting worse instead of better, i feel a trip to a salon may be close but will keep going for a while longer.If you struggle with constant shaving and would just like the opportunity to not have to worry about what you wear day to day, I'd say buy this product or any ILP product. It's made such a difference for me. Whilst not silky smooth, no one can see/tell you're feeling a bit fluffy. I am just hoping that eventually the fluff goes altogether too, which is the ultimate goal.

Decided to give this a go as my normal beauty therapist that does my laser is closed due to lockdown! Very easy to use, although down side is you have to have it plugged in for it to work as its not a rechargeable battery. I've just started to use so cant comment on how well it works, but will update after a couple of weeks about hair regrowth etc.

Over the last couple of years, I have developed pretty thick, black hair which grows super fast in places it shouldn't be - my chin, chest and shoulders. I decided to give IPL a go and chose this device as it had good reviews overall and came with a 60 day guarantee.The design is a bit odd. I thought it would be cordless, but you have to plug it in to use it which makes it a bit awkward to use. The cooling feature was nice, although it doesn't hurt so I don't think this is necessary. I tried each level to make sure it did not hurt then started to do my lower legs, forearms, face and chest on the highest setting. This takes about 30 mins to complete and I did this ever other day for 3 weeks after shaving. The device started to show 'error3' message and stop working after about 3 uses. There was nothing in the manual to say what this means, but I turned it off and back on again after 5 mins and it worked again. I think the device was overheating.After 3 weeks of using it every other days, I have noticed no difference at all. There was no thinning or reduction of hair, it grew back exactly the same as before I started to use this product. I thought I would keep going for another 3 weeks and hope that there was an improvement. However, when I went to use the device today, I turned it on and everything was fine. Then, the flashing stopped but the number on the machine kept reducing. I turned if off and on again but this didn't fix the issue. The machine was working like it usually does, with the display, but the flash was not working. I have included a video to show what was happening.I have returned the product as it is faulty and doesn't work again. I have very pale skin with very dark hair so a prime candidate for this product. Glad I tried it but very disappointed.

I have now had the product two months, using it on problematic areas mainly my underarm area. I have PCOS and have extremely stubborn hair in this area. I went to beautician and she recommended Laser as my hair was so quick at growing, dark, thick and dense. I went straight in at the deep end using level 5 knowing the battle ahead of me. The density and thickness of hair has reduced but unfortunately for me hair has not been completely removed as off yet😓😢. I do like the product and will stay the course. Just upset that Im not beautifully smooth in two months. But im hoping its more a matter of my hair than the product.

Bought it for my daughter and first day she used it and still continue to use it. She tried for the first time shave she hate it as after two day sits grow then she decide to use IPL as she heard about it a lot. At the moment she was happy that I bought this IPL. ItS COMPACT EASY TO STORE in her bag specially when she travel.

I've been using this for over a month and as much as I would say its easy to use and light to hold, unfortunately it hasn't worked, infact I feel like my hair is growing back quicker than before. I'm just hoping it's a slower process and maybe after another month or two I can see a difference

I've been using for a few months now on underarms and bikini area and not great results. The hair may have thinned slightly but not slowed in growth rate, still have to shave every couple of days. Giving up and going back to waxing

This is the second IPL machine I have used, my previous one was probably triple the price of this one but unfortunately it stopped working. When trying this, I was impressed with how portable this machine is, easy to use and there is no discomfort, can be stored easily.
