I've owned this about one month now and all of the baskets have held up nicely to regular daily use (like good as new condition)!It has a very tight weave that don't show well in the pictures, and it is extremely stiff. The sides do not bend or compress which seems like it is more due to the excellent construction of the weave, more so than stiff "basket" material.I'm extremely impressed with this one, and have bought other baskets on Amazon which were of lesser quality. It is as good as my best quality African baskets I have purchased from a local importer who I know - maybe better in some ways. My African baskets have a little more Flexibility in them than this one, yet this one is neither dry or have any little "basket hairs" sticking out from it, making it very easy to clean for a basket. Plus the weave is tight so the dirt can not settle easily.

Beautiful 3 piece set of handmade basket. Very sturdy and substantial weight. Gorgeous woven pieces of artwork. Well worth the price.

High quality woven baskets. No weird smells like some rattan / wicker things can have. Looks great, I use mine for fresh fruit.

I recently bought this set of bowls as a replacement for a set of bowls that we use for bread with meals and to store fruit around the kitchen. All and all, my wife and I have been very impressed with the quality of the bowls and how easy they are to keep clean. We love them so much that we plan on buying a second set as a backup!

The bowls look even better than I expected. Right now, I am using 2 of them to hold different kinds of nuts, and the third one for shells and they are on the coffee table in our family room. After the holidays, I will use them for wrapped candy and other snacks or as bread bowls. They are well made and very sturdy. I would buy them again.

Beautifully constructed, just an inch too short, but we adjust! Diameters are generous, great for bread and fruit on the kitchen counter. Love the combo of 3 nesting baskets and I am thinking of getting sets to give as gifts the coming year. They are a heck of a lot better constructed than any I found in local stores.

These baskets are very sturdy, look classy, perfect for snacks, bread, etc. I like to use a pretty cloth napkin in the baskets to keep them clean. I recommend them if presentation is important to you, as it is for me.

The bowls are nice to look at but fragile. I wanted to use one as an apple bowl but I don't dare. It feels like it could easily snap in two.
