K-SwissWomen's Express Light Pickleball Shoe

I went through all of the reviews for these shoes and everyone said they are super narrow and you need to size up. I am always a womens US 10 and I ordered a 10 wide because 11 was out of stock. However, the wide was much too wide, and I ended up ordering my regular shoe size anyway and it’s a perfect fit. Very comfortable.

Very comfortable! The design hàs lots of grip and stability. I feel safe on the court in these shoes. Plus my game improved immediately!I bought 1/2 size smaller than normal so they're snug. I don't like my feet sliding around when I have to react quickly. I only wear them when I play pickleball, but they're so comfortable I'm planning on buying anoth pair to wear around town. I highly recommend them!

I have gone through 5+ pairs of shoes looking for some comfortable pickleball shoes. In my search, I have discovered that there IS a noticeable difference between tennis shoes, all court shoes and pickleball specific shoes. Like many that have decided to equip for pickleball, I am used to running shoes. Running shoes have very flexible soles and I like fairly cushioned soles. If your tastes and experience are similar, save yourself done time and rule out those closeout all court shoes. Leave those for the teenagers playing volleyball. Tennis shoes are everywhere and there are tons of options. Tennis shoes, though, are extremely stiff in the sole and upper. These Kswiss pickleball shoes have finally satisfied my needs. They are 1) stiffer than running shoes, but not so stiff that you end up stomping around the court, 2) have good court focused traction, 3) have good cushioning in the sole, 4) have a wide pad of stability and 5) come in several colors that don't look like garbage. General features I like about this shoe: tongue centering loop, decent lace length, extra hole at top for tightening, heel is padded and doesn't slip. Some possible detractors: there is slight rubbing at the ankle as others mentioned, but it was not a bother to me. Also, the toe box is not very square, so that might be an issue if you like a roomy toe box. They are also warmer than I am used to, but I imagine that is the case for most shoes of this style since they are almost all much more reinforced on top than running shoes are. For my tastes and use, this is a great pickleball shoe and meets my needs.

Played tennis in HS and college, wore the classic K-Swiss then, and they were great. Thankfully, they have upgraded their design, and these are just awesome. I have had them for a few weeks so far, and compared to the Asics, I had to cinch them down a bit more, but once I did that, they fit well, my foot feels supported. I play pretty aggressive pickleball, a lot of fast footwork and these help me do that while providing stability. And lets face it, they look good. I get compliments on them a lot. I will say, I love the Asics too. Both are a good product. I bought these because the color I wanted in Asics was discontinued... ;) I am happily satisfied with these as I was the Asics...

Update!! I have played in these shoes for over 1 month now, playing almost daily 2-4 hours, and have noticed a few cons, unfortunately. 1- the biggest issue is the fit around the outside toe area. Not enough stiffness perhaps, but my feet get incredibly sore and cramping when i wear these shoes and play for a long period of time. If i wear other shoes, i don't get the same foot pain. Tried inserts and did not help the cramping in these shoes. 2- these show sweat stains almost immediately. The top of the shoe is fabric and it looks gross to me to see the sweat stains. If the foot pain wasn't so bad I'd wear these until they needed to be replaced.Unfortunately I cannot play in them with how my feet hurt so I will go back to my OG kswiss coutt express shoes.Original review after only wearing a few times: Great pickleball shoe! I Love K Swiss for court sports in general and have gone through a few pairs of K Swiss tennis shoes for pickleball. This one in my favorite. This shoe is so lightweight and breathable. Very comfortable to play in. No break-in time required. I play every day and played in a tournament the second time I wore these shoes- with no blisters or discomfort at all! They are stable/supportive,, but allow the right amount of sliding on the court!

I have been an Asics footwear person for years. Buying the same style everytime. The last time the same shoe fit awful! I read the reviews of this K-Swiss shoe and thought I’d try it. I ordered my regular shoe size 7.5. I read some people ordered up a size. I am glad I did not. OMG, they fit perfectly right out of the box. Fit so well that I wore them the next day to play pickle ball for 90 minutes. No break-in time, just out of the box and on to the court. I like them so much I am ordering another pair today!

I haven't worn them to play yet, but I do have these initial comments:1. A significant number of people suggested to size up. I actually sized down. The shoe was a bit long and the toe box had too much room when I ordered my regular Reebok and Nike size. I ended up ordering half a size down and it fits fine.2. Some said the shoe scratched against their ankles. I have that problem with some shoes but not this one.3. All of my athletic shoes are running shoes, and I wear them to play pickleball. These shoes feel stiffer at the bend, but maybe it's just because they're not broken in yet. The cushioning feels sufficient, but I might just put in a thin piece anyway since the shoe has plenty of space for it.4. The shoe doesn't have much arch support for me though. I don't feel anything there.

I bought a pair in June 2023 and liked them so much I bought another pair at the end of March 2024 mainly because I had so much difficulty getting the 4.5 size I needed the first time, I wanted to have a pair ready for when the first pair needed replacing.I am very disappointed to find that after just 12 months of fairly light use and I am not a heavy person, the right shoe has a hole appearing above my little toe and my sock is visible through it. These are not cheap shoes and I think it unreasonable that they barely lasted 12 months. It may be that this was a weakness in the manufacturing and I was unlucky but I would be interested to hear Amazon's thoughts on this.
